Nicholas Cage used to make my teeth ache and I almost did not see The Rock or Moonstruck just because he was in them. BOTH are good pictures, worlds apart but both worth seeing. He is still cringeworthy in Peggy Sue Got Married though. How many of his movies had you even seen before The Rock and Moonstruck though? Have you seen Matchstick Men or Face/Off or Adaptation or Leaving Las Vegas?
I think he is hilarious in Peggy Sue but it certainly isn't one of his better performances.

Yeah i love spring breakers but not any actors in at all. I don't like any of the female cast in general either but I think they are all solid in Spring Breakers.
I guess my question is...do you hate their performances in this movie?
Nope.

Maybe I'm wrong but you are talking about hating a performance and not the actor in general right?
I ask because I notice that many people here seem to be confusing the two, though the two may be the same in some people's cases. I am one of the people who doesn't hate any actor and dislikes only a handful. There are many I am indifferent to but that's not the same thing.
Ironically Emma Watson is one of the few actors I can't stand though. But even so, I think she is good in Noah.
Yes, I guess I disliked more the performance than Emma in general. But I always was against her being Belle. It always came this as so wrong and when I saw the film even worse, its like she just doesn't transmit the emotions that character required. maybe i made the mistake of watching the original just a few hours before going to see the live action. I wanted to have the original fresh in my mind before watching this version and big mistake i couldn't stop comparing the two versions of Belle how diferent they were. Emma Watson in this film reminded me more to Cameron (from the tv series House) than Belle. The same rigid points of view and both in their high horses. So as you can see Cameron really got on my nerves and it doesn't help having an actress who is playing belle but acting more like Cameron

I'd say so. One example is Lord of the Rings. I find Elihah Wood's Frodo an irritating wetrag, but there's enough going for them otherwise that I love them anyway.

Hate is a strong word but while I'm not an Eastwood fan I love Leone's Dollars Trilogy, especially GBU. Of course the real star of that one was Eli Wallach.

Hated Frank Sinatra and John Wayne, but really like a few of their movies.
