I'm speaking on behalf of myself, not the baby.
And it could be screaming for reasons that have nothing to do with the guy holding it.
It could be hungry, thirsty, tired, teething, in need of burping, feeling unwell or missing the comforting and familiar presence of its parents, just to name the obvious reasons.
Nope, poor baby is terrified. For some reason as adults we find this hilarious, my folks crack up every single time they pull out my crying baby picture. I accept that's one possibility, but not the only possibility.
And I find nothing humorous about the photograph.

I've run afoul of a small gang or group of youths.
'Cause I'm a man, I probably just received less sympathy.

Not the only one, just the most likely. Come on, you not only have kids but you’ve been to the mall, kids that age cry a lot and they’re not all feeling unwell. I may just have a twisted sense of humor but I do find those pics funny, even mine. If I thought the kids were traumatized I wouldn’t laugh. |
