Yes, unquestionably. He’s been elite for years.

When I think "Elite" I think top 5 QB...Im sorry, Rivers imo has never been a top 5er.
Tom Brady Aaron Rodgers Drew Brees R. Wilson
Top 4 imo..
Newton D. Watson D. Carr M. Stafford Molhomme
Ive seen them all taken ahead of Rivers.
Am I saying he is chopped liver, no, but elite...errr......
Lets be real....I hate to go here but imo I have too. You got a fantasy football team, I know some of you do, how many of you start Rivers?
I bet none of you do.

Yes Rivers is elite, he’s had an outstanding career, he’s just had enough talent around him to get to the Super Bowl. He’s better than Eli, and if Eli hadn’t demanded to play for the Giants and used his family’s connections to go there, Rivers would’ve gone there and would probably have a Super Bowl Title.

What hall of fame weapons besides Tomlinson? Antonio Gates While I agree that Gates will be a hall of famer, he’s a tight end, he’s not Randy Moss. I wouldn’t go so far to call him a “weapon”. Semantics perhaps, just my opinion.

That's a reeeeeal stretch, but you can say 'hall of fame talent' instead if it makes you feel better. With the possible recent exceptions of Gronk, Ertz, Kelce, and like two seasons worth of Jimmy Graham, what tight end makes or break a game? Tony Gonzalez caught a million balls that added up to jack shit. What impact did Jason Witten have? Gates was a good player but his real impact was minimal.

Having Witten made Romo a significantly better player. When you have that sort of reliability it takes a lot of pressure off of you, especially in 3rd down situations. But it doesn't really matter. Antonio Gates is a hall of fame player. That's better than not having great players around you. The insistence that Eli had better teams around him and succeeded because of them, and Rivers carried his mediocre offenses on his back, especially early on, is absurd.

No.
I am of the opinion that there are only 3 and they are Brady, Brees, Rodgers. Then you have a notch down with guys like Big Ben, Russ, Rivers, Ryan. So to me he's a very good hall of fame quarterback but never did I view him as elite.
