This is the first year since I moved back to NY in 2003 that I'm not going to the Mets home opener. Too many off days coming up, can't skip another day of work even though a nice, morning tailgate following by the Opening Day game is always a blast. Oh well.

Is there a printable copy of that? ha! i recall in high school i was in charge of the getaway vehicle to pick everyone up out front to go to the opening day. when the dean of discipline finally realized 5 kids all had to 'see the doctor' at noon...he ran outside...but it was too late. |

I go to plenty of games every year, and I used to care about going to opening day, but now I'd rather go to less popular--and much cheaper--games.
Playoffs and important late-season games are a different story.

I was thinking about going to the Bisons curtain raiser but April can be really rotten, weather wise. I'll wait until May.
