Tongue meat is very tender. If you live near a local meat market now you can prepare it yourself.

I think maybe you're being snide. But beef tongue is delicious. Mexicans call it lengua. I get lengua tacos at least once a week.
Some other delicious Mexican organ meats you can try are sesos or cow brains, tripa or cow gut, cabeza or cow cheek meat. All scrumptious.

Some other delicious Mexican organ meats you can try are sesos or cow brains, tripa or cow gut, cabeza or cow cheek meat. All scrumptious. Cow cheek meat? You mean like a cow's buttocks? I don't know. Or do you mean like cow jowels? One time, my friend and I were at a Pakistani restaurant and my friend with his adventurous palette ordered a plate of fried brains. Don't know what animal. And while I am sure billions of people the world over have enjoyed more than their share of animal brains, I almost vomited. It didn't help matters that my friend has never heard of "table manners". At one point during this dubious dining experience, my friend puts his arms straight out in front of him and starts chanting "Brains! Brains!" ala Night of the Living Dead. Then he starts laughing his head off. Half chewed brains were falling out of his mouth and onto the table. He couldn't care less. I moved seats, so I didn't have to look at him for the rest of the meal. Gross.
