I'm curious what peoples types are. I have a preference for tall men for completely practical reasons. Other than that, I really don't care. I also wouldn't rule a short guy out entirely either. I'm all about sex appeal, and you don't have to be good looking to have that. Matt Damon has zero sex appeal to me: I find Damon very appealing. But he is not “my type”. My type would be 1. Dustin Hoffman 2. Tom Cruise 3. Jason Schwartzman And if someone says they dont see it, I couldnt care less. I see it and thats what counts for me. |

Do you get shamed for it at all. I've had people try, but I make no apologies for what I like. I hope this attempted shaming isn't coming from friends. If so, they're not very good friends. I bet their preferences aren't any better than yours. And who cares what anyone thinks. They're not the ones who have to live your life. Were you shamed for having a type or for the particular type you had? |

I imagine most people have a "type", or preferences. Do you get shamed for it at all. I don't think you should be "shamed" per say. That's not cool. But I think that when someone tells you they think you're crazy, for liking something very specific, to the exclusion of other possibilities, what they're really doing is giving you their opinion, that they like more things than you do.
My opinion is that you probably should explore other options. Diversity is the spice of life. For example, I never thought a chubby girl would rock my world... until one did. Made me squeal! Now, I'm all about the motion of the ocean. LOL!
