I liked her in MoS but they didn’t give her anything really to do in either BVS or JL. That was smart anyway.

Fine by me. I like the actress, I like Lois Lane, but I never liked her Lois Lane. She just doesn’t seem to fit the character, and her playing the part isn’t that great.

I'm sorry, I didn't know I needed to spell out my denial for you. I would have thought that by stating that DC does some things better than the MCU that that would have already made it obvious that I don't hate everything DC. But just so we're clear, I don't hate everything DC-related. Hope that's clear enough for you. |

I would have thought that by stating that DC does some things better than the MCU that that would have already made it obvious that I don't hate everything DC. True enough the movies didn't use her as well as they should have, but even so it's just not that easy to find an adequate replacement for Amy Adams - anybody else would feel like a downgrade as far as acting ability goes. I wish Warner would just make a sequel to Man of Steel and allow Cavill and Adams to shine their brightest - they both were such solid choices for Clark and Lois but the screenplays they were working from could only let them go so far.

He does it by shooting, stabbing, and blowing up people in the same psychotic manner he'd done everything throughout the movie. Likewise, I see you talk about Superman's arc in MoS, about how it ends with his big Superman smile. The destruction of his city and forcible murder of Zod is not means of a character arc ending with a goofy smile? Lois is the driving force of Superman II's plot. What are you talking about? |
