I think it will be the best comic movie of the year with Venom being a close second I remember when Green Lantern was already better than First Avenger before anyone saw it. Were people say GL was dark knight quality?

74% at the moment. That's not a good sign. Most of these movies start of pretty high then start dropping. Then again, I guess it's doing better than the average DCEU film. Let's hope this doesn't follow the pattern and instead gets better as more reviews flow in.

Let's hope this doesn't follow the pattern and instead gets better as more reviews flow in. It has to drop 15% to be rotten, and another 4(?)% to go below the first ‘divisive’ film in the DCEU. So it’s still doing alright. Probably lost the possibility of Certified Fresh with the fancy medal though

Did one of the fresh reviews become rotten or something?

Did one of the fresh reviews become rotten or something? No, more rotten reviews are coming in, not everyone sent theirs in first thing.

Did one of the fresh reviews become rotten or something? Don’t know. I’m seeing it at a 79% right now.

Just checked and still at 74%. One thing to note though is that the average score is sitting at 6/10. It means that even those who certified it fresh aren't exactly giving it high praise. From what I can tell of the reviews I've read (about 10 of them so far) the consensus seems to be that the movie is pretty mess and doesn't have much heart but has just enough spectacle and fun to be decent.

It is now certified fresh. Really? Maybe I'm not looking at it correctly, but it doesn't have the certified banner on the tomato on the site.

It is now certified fresh. It is down to 73% and could plausibly go rotten by the end of the week. It is most certainly not Certified Fresh. Do you understand what that means?

Rormachine said it was just boring. And when a movie is 2hr and 20 minutes and none of the characters are particularly interesting AND the movie overall is boring... not a fun time at the theatre.

Top Critics are 46% (6/13)
Movie currently has 50 total reviews at 74%, holding fairly strong, but big budget superhero movies like this usually settle in at the 180ish review range. Hold on to your butts. Positively, the reviewers that come in later in the week are either newspaper guys who are withholding their review until the opening Friday as a ‘reveal’ or less credentialed reviewers who are usually a little more lenient.
Aquaman’s company:
Superman Returns 75% Batman 72% Iron Man 2 72% The Wolverine 70% Incredible Hulk 67% Thor: The Dark World 66%

I think we can finally lay to rest the ridiculous critics are biased against DC myth, given that Aquaman provides sufficient ammunition for anyone looking to find a legitimate reason to take a shit on it.

76% right now. Not bad since it dipped as low as 72% earlier today. We're going in the right direction. Just checked it again myself and yeah...still at 76%, I'm really crossing my fingers on this one. Go Aquaman! Go!

I've always said that even the worst MCU movies are still highly enjoyable flicks. So if Aquaman is able to stay in the 70's that's good enough for me.

outside of wonder woman which I have no problem admitting the female aspect helped. funny since mcu fans cant even admit the clear obvious of black panther

Huh? What you said made absolutely no sense. I mean, I know you make up stuff just to make the MCU seem worse but could you at least put effort into making your sentences understandable?
