I pray this is not the "Superbowl Shuffle" for this year's L. A. Rams.

Yep. Just tune into a radio station playing modern pop and you can easily find songs far worse than this.

It's probably not one I'd add to my list of easy listening favourites.

So in approximately 25-30 years you haven't heard anything worse. Wow.
In that time I've heard SO much worse that I thought we were in the American decline. Little did I know it could get worse still. t r u m p

More or less. That’s my "official" go to worst-song-ever. I’ve heard plenty of other terrible songs (“I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker”, “FREAXXX”, just about anything by The Black Eyed Peas), that are pretty much just as bad. It’s thankfully a bit easier to avoid rubbish you don’t want to hear these days, or at least avoid hearing it over and over and over. That wasn’t the case so much circa the early 90s.

I don't understand though. What was up with that song? Why was it even a thing? Because it's really old. From like the 90s, a time when people had much better taste and better music was being made. But this piece of chit feels like it was produced two decades too soon. It was also (or mainly) used as a song for dances and parties and stuff, and may still be to this day. At least that's where I know it from. I don't recall if I ever heard it on the radio. I guess it was before my time. That said there are still worse songs on modern pop radio, just tune in and chances are you'll hear a song worse than this.

Well I don't really consider it a song, more like a piece of comedy. It's funny so yeah I guess I like it somewhat.

Utterly pathetic. Some of the women are attractive, but they're just acting so smug, self important and lacking in any humility. The guys are pretty cringey. But the song's the main offender, can't believe people thought it was "cool" at the time, some probably still do.

Outside of Maroon 5 nothing that has come SINCE the early 90's has really captured my imagination. By the mid 90's and the emergence of New Kids on the Block my heart was officially broken. Don't get me wrong, I have liked quite a few songs since then, but nothing so much that I followed it continuously, again outside of maybe Maroon 5.
