So what does everyone think will happen next fall? Aside from the obvious thought that all of the DCCW shows will merge to one earth... Comic Spoiler: The biggest mystery as I see it is that BOTH Kara and Barry die in the original comic. Do we think that Oliver's hidden deal with The Monitor will get answered this season? Or will it not come back until next fall? A Balance being maintained when two heroes die, seems pretty ominous for Oliver... If they didn't say Crisis was happening in the fall of 2019, I would have guaranteed that next season would be the final season of Arrow. I'm really not sure... Thoughts? Theories?

It's certainly piqued my curiosity, but knowing these writers and what they do, I'm skeptical what this will ultimately amount to.
One of the odd things is that it always seemed to be the implication of that future article on the Flash about Barry's disappearance that, that was referring to Crisis on Infinite Earths; which would jive with him disappearing if he died, but it wouldn't occur until around I think season 10. They could maybe say that Nora's presence has altered time to move that timetable up, or some other rationale.
I get the feeling that the deal Oliver made with the Monitor might be setting up an exit strategy for Stephen Amell. Next season will be season 8 of Arrow. I don't recall the specifics of what I've read Stephen discussing about his contract, but we're definitely within the realm where his renewal has become or soon will become on a year by year basis. I can't remember if that occurred with the end of season 6 or 7, but I'm pretty sure season 8 isn't strictly a given; although one source in a cursory Google search said Stephen is signed on through at least season 8. There being this ominous deal in place on the show and the early announcement of the crossover next year invariably all point at least one more season of Arrow too. But beyond that I think is harder to say. Stephen's not getting younger, he's still in prime shape, but the regiment to stay that way must take it's toll eventually. More importantly, his family is in LA and he spends the better part of the year away from them, his daughter is growing up; and I get the impression from his online presence - which hasn't been what it used to be for a while now - that he's feeling the pull to with them more.

I would want Felicity's mouth to be sewn shut just like Wade in Wolverine. Then she has my permission to be around ever after. Ill even permit writing and signs for her to communicate with the team. I'd be doing Ollie a favour in more ways than one ;-)
