I think you might have been the only one over 30k, too, but not sure. Others were close, def in the 27k range. But, yeah. Which Page here on IMDB2 is it ? I would actually like to see it for myself. There is a members tab at the top if you’re in desktop mode. It’s alphabetical. |

Agree. I am the President of CHAD, it's not like I couldn't bump all my threads to the top all at once if I wanted, but I don't out of respect to other users and the forum. and pretty much akin to trolling Agree. I hate trolling and would never engage in such behavior myself. |

I visit this board a few times a week to enjoy a read of the posts but I'm lucky not to see his threads. This is because I felt compelled to block him on the Sports board where I spend more time. Absolutely nothing against the fellow, and I've never blocked any member before or since him, but his endless Poll and Question threads were just clogging up the Sports board for me and I got sick of it. Now that he's on Ignore, my view of the Sports board has cleared up a treat. I stress that it's nothing to do with him personally but just his relentless bombardment of inane polls and surveys. Yes, I agree with the OP here.

my biggest problem with his posts are they feel a tad mundane at this point. Actresses are hot, nice, what if I wanna discuss thematic aspects of a movie I recently saw or an actors filmography as well? wait gotta wade as well through a million threads about sexy pics of actresses.

It's mostly because you can tell he doesn't do it to be malicious or intentionally obnoxious. I think he's just trying to spark conversation... but he's going way, way, way overboard .I do hope he's gotten the message and cools it a bit. I think self-bumping 2 or 3 of his threads is fine. It's just when it gets up into the 9th, 10th, 11th self-bump where it inundates the board and becomes a huge problem. It's Film General-- not the anthonyrocks show. |

Agreed and I know that I have Gone WAY OVERBOARD with all of the Post-Bumping that I do and at the Same Time whenever I try to start New Topics that are really just Absolutely Boring, Completely Ridiculous, Pointless, Meaningless, Stupid, and Foolish, or all of the above. |

But when nobody has responded for weeks, obviously nobody is interested in continuing that conversation so the thread should just die. It's the constant bumping of old threads that nobody is interested in anymore and that clogs up the 1st page that gets annoying. And sure, we can all click to go to Page 2. But seriously, how many people are actually going to take the time to got to Page 2, Page 3, etc.? |
