(Cue Salzmank and Cole Porter) Apologies if someone already pointed this out later in the thread (edit: ya someone did) but if you click on 'members' at the top then click on 'posts' it will list all users in order from most to least. Only one page necessary to see anthony has a commanding lead over abbey. Thank you, but I knew before Bartlesby said so, too. I was joking with the alphabetical arrangement. 🤷♂️ Impressive, indeed! He could use a scenic respite. 😃 |

THIS …. and known trouble makers who came back after the ban-lift and have been bitching about the changes that happened while they were gone. Ahhh… venting

I tend to agree with politicidal as I don't mind people making threads here and there but after a certain point a person begins to flood the boards with stuff and others posts might not be seen etc. sure, I realize we can always 'block' someone if we want to and all but I generally avoid that unless someone really acts up and I don't feel he's crossing a line in that regard. personally if I was Anthonyrocks I would scale the volume of threads started back to a manageable level as I would imagine some topics are very similar to others to where you could just bundle multiple topics into one central topic etc. p.s. I just noticed he's got 52,820 posts! ; it's like he's got to be posting near constantly as I got 6,xxx and counting and I post a fair amount but to blow my post count away like that is probably posting WAY to much. or look at it this way... these forums have been here nearly 3 years now and at 52,820 posts that's about 17,606 posts per year or an average of 48 posts per day for 3 years straight! ; that's A LOT. for comparison I would be averaging about 6 posts per day over that same three years of time. Feologild Oakes Yeah, I think even the admin is pretty much on the same page with us as I doubt any of us minds a bump here and there but when your bumping MANY threads it's generally best not to, especially ones Anthonyrocks does not consider to be a bit more higher priority. or even if you do bump some threads I would give them at least a 1-3 days or so before bumping some of his higher priority ones. @jamesavalon Agreed. but I do think out of a basic level of respect for others and the forums, keep the bumps to a minimum and don't create too many threads in a short period of time especially given some threads can likely be combined into one central thread that he could bump once in a while etc. I say 'quality over quantity' 
personally those who report people for petty crap I would think a bit lower of. like some who probably don't like what another person has to say for example and they report them, I say the hell with those types as just disagreeing with someone is not report worthy as it should be more of a legitimate thing to report someone over like if they were blatantly spamming the forums with multiple threads in a short period of time or just acting like a total screw up etc.

O well, at least we seem to be pretty much on the same page on this basic topic.
I assume this is another stab at my comments. o well, I think we have a difference of opinion it seems as I tend to do most of my talking through ratings/general stats (it gives one perspective on how things measure up for me against all movies I have seen etc (because it seems some people fling out high score for stuff fairly often as people who do that too often it sort of makes higher score of less worth for them in general etc)) where as you don't seem to care for that sort of stuff. but surely, you don't disagree with that basic 'quality over quantity' in general (not in relation to me specifically, but just things in life in general), correct?
