Will Super Bowl LIII be an all-LA Super Bowl?

I don't think so. I think a rock hard defense will spoil the party.

I think the Chargers have a better shot than the Rams.

WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE are either passing, disregarding, ignoring, or forgetting about the New England Patriots (who are still the reigning AFC Champions).
Of course having said that, I would love it if "SUPERBOWL 53" was LA vs. LA!

So many combinations of a Super Bowl Lineup, and it usually ends up being the spot light hogs most times. You can't discredit the Patriots and Steelers until you actually see them go down in the playoffs. As the playoffs stand right now NFC Wildcard Vikings at Bears Seahawks at Cowboys Vikings have been rather mediocre this season and at this point they feel just like playoff spot filler limping into the post season. Bears run over them at home. Cowboys have been notorious for flubbing it in the playoffs in recent years/decades. Seattle is looking better than when they started. Seahawks pull off an upset which leaves the sports pundits butt hurt again. Saints beat the Seahawks in a close one and the Bears shut down the Rams in LA. I could see New Orleans/Chicago going either way but they are the two NFC teams I like at the moment. The AFC Wild Card Ravens At Texans Chargers At Steelers Baltimore usually does pretty good in the post season and a lot of those years they were undervalued by the "experts". Houston's division has been rather mediocre, not to tear down their winning streak but Baltimore could totally go in and upset them at home. Likewise, Pittsburgh finds ways to ALWAYS get into the playoffs despite a season of on and off doom and gloom. Steelers could take a giant shit on the Chargers run! KC hosts Pittsburgh and as much as I would love to see KC go the distance. I would say it's a 70% probability they blow it when they host Pittsburgh. Patriots get the Ravens and win in formula fashion setting up Patriots Steelers....again ![>:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/superangry.png) So as of this moment in time with the teams that are in. I've got Saints/Bears Vs Patriots/Steelers. Some combination of that. I know ESPN would hyper masturbate over Brees/Brady bowl. An L.A bowl is pretty far down there on my list because we don't usually get nice things like that.

I hope we see an LA Superbowl but I don't think that will happen it will probably be the Patriots in the AFC like usual and maybe the Saints, Rams or Bears in the NFC.

That would be great, but, I don't trust the Chargers to make it.

WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE are either passing, disregarding, ignoring, or forgetting about the New England Patriots (who are still the reigning AFC Champions). Because the Cheatriots lost the Super Bowl last year and teams that lose Super Bowls generally don't make it back to the Super Bowl the next year. The Cowboys and Dolphins made it back (and won the Super Bowl) after losing the Super Bowl in the 1970s and the Bills made it back 3 times after losing the Super Bowl in the 1990s, but no one else has ever made it back to the Super Bowl the year after losing a Super Bowl.

True but Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the New England Patriots aren't "no one". Plus, There is always that Classic saying..... "In order to be the Best, You first have to beat the Best" and since the Eagles are going through rough times right now, that just leaves the New England Patriots (Again, The Defending AFC Champions).

True but Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the New England Patriots aren't "no one". Yes, they are. Without cheating, they're nothing. Heck, this isn't the first time they lost a Super Bowl. What happened the last 2 times they lost a Super Bowl? 2007 - lost Super Bowl XLI 2008 - didn't make the playoffs 2011 - lost Super Bowl XLVI 2012 - didn't make the Super Bowl So even Shady Brady and Belicheat and the Cheatriots have already proven TWICE that they can't get back to the Super Bowl the year after losing a Super Bowl. There is always that Classic saying..... "In order to be the Best, You first have to beat the Best"This isn't the WWE. LOL, Well I don't mean to go off the rails here but I have to say that with the way things are going in it.....I think that the WWE is right now on a guaranteed collision course with the ground.

You know, part of me actually wants to see the Dallas Cowboys win "SUPERBOWL 53" just so I can see how Stephen A. Smith reacts to it.

According to Las Vegas, the top contenders for the Super Bowl are the Rams, Saint, Chiefs and Patriots.

Well, according to you, they are still “cheating”, so they continue to be a force to be reckoned with. Rumor has it that Tom Brady is using a non regulation chin strap this season. That should give the Patriots that infinitesimal unfair advantage that all the other teams have such a hard time overcoming.
Oh dear ... someone thinks the Eagles are the best team this season because they are the defending champs from last season. Is it still too early to declare that the stupidest statement of the day?

There is always that Classic saying..... "In order to be the Best, You first have to beat the Best"1st, this isn't the WWE. In the WWE, the current champ always defends the title in a title match. In the NFL, the current champ doesn't have to be in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs or Chargers can win the Super Bowl this year without even playing (and beating) the current champs, the Eagles. 2nd, the Pats aren't the "Best". The Eagles already beat them for the title last year so the Eagles are the defending champs. Now if you say that the Eagles are no longer the best because they've been beaten, that's OK. But you can't automatically say the Pats are the best because your claim is "to be the best, you have to beat the best" and the Pats still haven't beaten the Eagles since the Eagles won the Super Bowl. So by your statement, "to be the best, you have to beat the best", if the Eagles aren't the best, then the best is a team that HAS beaten the Eagles since the Eagles won the Super Bowl. A team like the Cowboys(who have beaten the Eagles), not the Pats (who haven't beaten the Eagles since the Eagles won the Super Bowl).

Oh dear ... someone thinks the Eagles are the best team this season because they are the defending champs from last season. Is it still too early to declare that the stupidest statement of the day? No, moron, since you're obviously too slow to understand, I'll explain it to you slowly. anthonyrocks is trying to use Ric Flair's line to apply to the NFL and claim that "to be the best, you have to beat the best" and claims in order for a team to be the best, they have to beat the Pats. But the Pats aren't the best because the Eagles already beat them in the Super Bowl. So by anthonyrocks claim, the Eagles are the best because they're the defending champs. Now anthonyrocks also says the Eagles aren't as good this year so they're no longer the best. And that's OK. But then anthonyrocks tries to claim that since the Eagles aren't the best, that automatically makes the Pats the best, which is false by anthonyrocks own quote "to be the best, you have to beat the best". Well, the Pats haven't beaten the Eagles since the Eagles won the Super Bowl so the Pats can't be the best since they haven't beaten the best. So by anthonyrocks ' claim, "to be the best, you have to beat the best", the best team has to be a team that HAS already beaten the defending champion Eagles. And that team isn't the Pats since the Pats still haven't beaten the defending champion Eagles since the Eagles won the Super Bowl. So the Pats aren't the best. The 4 best teams in the NFL this season are clearly the Saints, Rams, Chiefs, and Chargers. So that's 4 possible Super Bowl matchups, 1 of which is Chargers vs Rams. So there's a 25% chance of a Chargers vs Rams Super Bowl.

I'll take that as confirmation that you agree the original was so stupid that you had to toss it down the memory hole. ... but at least it was brief. If you are so inarticulate that it takes you four tortured paragraphs to explain yourself, then you already lost the argument.

This reminds me of the time he made a list of FAQs to try and prove that Batman vs Superman was a good movie and didn’t realize that when the list has 50 FAQs, it’s not a good movie
