The Seahawks loss could move them from the 5 to 6 seed in the NFC playoff race, they play the Chiefs next week and if they lose that game and the Vikings win out the Vikings would get the 5 seed. That could be big as I would much rather face the Cowboys than the Bears. I hope that happens too because I would rather the Cowboys play against the Vikings than the Seahawks in the playoffs.

The Rams are trying to mount a comeback, let’s see if they can win. They finally aired the ball out on their last drive.

Another fumble and the Eagles recover. Rams have mounted an impressive record, but they did have the Niners and Cardinals for 4 of those 16 games and you know how bad those teams have been.

Weird that the Rams had been outplayed for the entire second half and it still felt like it was their game to lose at the end. And they certainly made sure to ruin it.

Here is my recap and analysis of Week 15’s games
Eagles defeat Rams 30-23. Eagles with an impressive outing led by Foles, he gave the team a spark and the Eagles defense played better as well, and they remain alive in the playoff race although their chances are slim. The Rams are struggling badly, they are turning the ball over a lot, they don’t have much depth, and their defense is just mediocre and haven’t played up to their potential, they are going to have to wake up and play with more energy before the playoffs start.
Steelers defeat Patriots 17-10. Steelers win in what was a must win game for them, and they are now in good position to win the AFC North, their defense played much better today and Samuels had a strong game rushing and was a key for the Steelers offense, if the Steelers can run the ball and play solid defense they are a very good team. The Pats are struggling, their defense isn’t playing well at all right now and they will have to improve on that side of the ball if they are going to compete in the playoffs, and Brady isn’t playing quite as well as he has in the past.
Colts defeat Cowboys 23-0. Nice win for the Colts as they remain right in the AFC playoff race, their defense dominated today and they are a much improved team and they finally have solid players around Luck on both sides of the ball, and they are a solid team. Cowboys with an unmotivated, lifeless effort, they should still win the NFC East but they need to be more consistent and Prescott needs to be more consistent as well, he is inconsistent and hasn’t been sharp lately.
Vikings defeat Dolphins 41-17. Vikings with their best game of the season as they dominate the Fins on both sides of the ball, their offense was much more balanced and they finally established a strong rushing attack to go along with their explosive passing attack, and their defense was more aggressive with stronger coverage from the secondary and they played much better than they have all season as well, the Vikings made the right move firing their OC and they are in great position to get the 6 seed. Fins are still in the AFC playoff race but they only have a very slim chance and I don’t see them making it, I think it’s time for the Fins to completely rebuild, they’ve been mired in mediocrity for a long time and I don’t think Tannehill will ever be able to get them over the hump.
Bears defeat Packers 24-17. Bears clinch the NFC North and finally beat the Packers, and they are playing very well, they have a top tier defense and their offense is solid and very balanced, they will be a threat in the playoffs IMO. The Packers have had a disappointing season and I think they will be improved next year with a new coach and they finally seem to be drafting some decent players after years of poor front office moves.
Titans defeat Giants 17-0. The Titans remain right in the AFC playoff race, they have a decent team all around, Henry is playing great right now, and their defense shut down Barkley and made the Giants one dimensional, the Titans have a decent shot at getting the 6 seed in the AFC. The Giants have some talent but they still have a lot of rebuilding to do before they can be a strong team.
49ers defeat Seahawks 26-23. Niners with an impressive win against their division rivals, they are still competing and will be much improved next season with a healthy Garappolo. Bad loss for the Seahawks against a weak team, this could send them from the 5 seed to the 6 seed in the playoffs and that could be a big thing.
Falcons defeat Cardinals 40-14. Falcons with their most impressive game of the season, they dominated on both sides of the ball, they are talented and will be much improved in 2019 IMO. The Cardinals are very weak, they don’t have a lot of talent on either side of the ball and Rosen hasn’t been impressive although I’m not sure how much of that is his fault.
Ravens defeat Buccaneers 20-12. Ravens are playing very well, their defense is outstanding and Jackson has given their offense a spark that was lacking under Flacco and it looks like he now has the QB job, the Ravens are right in the thick of the AFC playoff race. The Bucs are a below average team and it will be very interesting to see what they do regarding Winston, I’m not sure if he’s capable of being a franchise QB.
Bills defeat Lions 14-13. Bills are a competitive team with Allen at QB and I think they will continue to be better going forward if they can get weapons around Allen. The Lions are a puzzling team, they have some talented players but they haven’t played up to their potential and I’m not sure what they do going forward.
Bengals defeat Raiders 30-16. Bengals are subpar, it will be interesting to see what they do going forward and I think they should start with a new coach. Raiders are rebuilding and hoping to be competitive in a couple of years.
Redskins defeat Jaguars 16-13. Not much to say here, it will be interesting to see what both teams do going forward as the Jags need a new QB and the Redskins can never seem to get over the hump and Smith’s future in uncertain.
Any thoughts?

No real surprise there, but the Cincinnati Bengals have been officially eliminated from the play off race. Strike em from the list!

The Rams are light years better than they have been in over 10 years, but they are starting to feel like those old school 1970's Rams teams. A perrenial play off team who ends up losing in the divisional or championship game. Rams made the playoffs last season and I thought they had a decent shot at the NFC championship game, but they ended up getting shut down by the Falcons rather easily. They might be turning into one of those teams that looks awesome all regular season then quietly bows out of the playoffs. Like Andy Reid's Kansas City Chiefs.

And the Texans are only in it because they have not played a team with a winning record all year.

The saving grace for the Chiefs is they have a loyal fan base. That "L.A" crowd was going noticeably bat shit for every big play by the Eagles. Much louder than the Rams faithful when they made a big play.

That Rams V Eagles game scares me. Texans play the Eagles....and I said try Foles. Im sorry, Wentz didnt look "Wentz" this year, and IMO, that Saints game crushed this young kids confidence. Never do that. Foles now has a ring on his shoulders, why the Eagles didnt try and give him the Saints game, see what he could do blows my mind. What if Foles goes 3-0 (Can they go 2-1 ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ). Philly has a ruthless fan base, if you know sports. If Foles can somehow sneak into the playoffs (Their division is a mess)....uh oh.

Mercifully I missed the Pats game due to family obligations. I saw the highlights though. Poor effort by everyone. Defense gave up long drives, Brady had that bonehead pick. This is not a very good team this year. #3 seed right now, but at least they have two winnable home games to close out the regular season. They can't beat bad teams on the road, so I can't imagine they'll go far in the playoffs. Potentially a one and done playoff appearance if they don't start playing better football.
