Which of these three directors' work do you prefer overall?

Close for me. Haven't seen the complete filmography of any of them. Would probably give the edge to Inarritu. Favorite film from any of them though is Cuaron's Children of Men.
EDIT - Roma pushes Cuaron over the line for me now.

Their averages for (only) their directorial works: Del Toro - 6.8/10 Cuarón - 7.8/10 González* - 8/10 *Spanish-speakers use the last names of both parents. The father's goes first and it's used as the default one. I'm guessing Alejandro didn't want his name to sound too generic, so he makes it seem like it's his middle name and like the less common Iñárritu is his only last name. Inarritu has 3 films I like. Which ones?

It might be four. I saw Babel many years ago, but I'm having difficulty remembering it.

Love all three, but Cuarón by default, simply because Y Tu Mamá Tambiénwas so pivotal to my adolescence.

Guilermo Del Toro, I can see myself watching any number of his movies at least once a year for the foreseeable future. His movies speak to me, they inspire me, they're so beautiful to look at. I genuinely get excited to see his movies, and he's one of the few Hollywood people I would jump at the opportunity to meet and speak to. When I think Cauron and Innaritu there's really only a few of their movies I'd ever care to watch again, those being Children of Men and Birdman, those are incredible films, all time favorites, but when am I ever going to want to sit through Babel again? Or 21 Grams? How will I ever match the experience of seeing Gravity in 3D on a 60' screen? Even The Revenant, I think when I eventually buy a 4K TV I'll buy that film on 4K blu-ray, but not till after I've bought Pan's Labyrinth, Shape of Water, Crimson Peak and Pacific Rim.
