Dope Jupiter Ascending The Lobster The Intern American Ultra Jurassic World Sisters Trainwreck The Hateful Eight The Good Dinosaur Looking at your worst list: I thought that The Lobster was genuinely fresh and engaging, with a hilarious turn by Olivia Colman, until they left the hospital, upon which point it crashed almost instantly. Train wreck is just that, although Tilda Swinton was a saving grace. I actually rather enjoyed Sisters, which I watched under duress. I have seen The Good Dinosaur and The Intern but remember nothing except that one of them involved a dinosaur and the other a dinosaur becoming an intern. Good calls.

That is probably my favorite of all the top 10 lists you have done in this series. I am with you about Creed btw. It isn't one of the worst movies of the year for me, but it is a very mediocre movie imo.

It isn't one of the worst movies of the year for me, but it is a very mediocre movie imo. Thank you for the kind words, and for the support throughout this series of lists! re Creed - I was never a fan of the Rocky franchise but checked this out recently due to Coogler and Jordan (I really liked Fruitvale Station and Black Panther was good of its kind too). It probably wouldn't make a worst list had I seen a few more films, but filling out the lists for more recent years becomes increasingly difficult as 1) I have so many movies I hope to see but haven't yet and 2) as I get older I become more and more discerning about what I watch, so tend to gravitate away from anything that I am reasonably certain I'll dislike. Life is short! Anyway, it was watchable, more of a mediocrity than an outright bad film, but it really was such an obvious compendium of cliches, right from the opening scene through to the climax - and much, much too long. That so many critics raved it so enthusiastically is puzzling to me.

I am a fan of Rocky (1975), but the series should have ended a long time ago imo. Rocky Balboa (2006) would have been a nice ending for the series but then Creed and Creed II had to go and ruin it. It has become overkill to a laughable extent.
