So you don't think he's a hero but a disturbed monster?

So you don't think he's a hero but a disturbed monster? More like a pretentious self deluded asshole than anything else. That guy who heard Shakespeare in the park once then believes he's a renaissance man because of it. Charismatic though.

I have no idea who Tyler Durden is meant to be, but if he were to say that, it would actually represent an endorsement of the whole concept of social justice, in its own combative way: no one deserves any better, nor any lesser, treatment than anyone else.
The thing about terms like Social Justice Warrior, or Political Correctness or Virtue Signaling or Identity Politics or similarly glib phrases, is that they function merely as avoidance devices by diminishing issues their users are uncomfortable confronting to catchy but empty pejoratives.

Social Justice warriors would scoff at his actions. They want the government to coddle and take care of them. He's pretty much the opposite of that. They are socialists, Tyler is more of an anarchist.

Tyler Durden would probably spend most of his time engaged on social media complaining about BuzzFeed articles and going back and forth with SJWs on Twitter until he inevitably got banned for posting dick pics. Then I guess he'd go over to Infowars to fruitlessly complain about how he's being oppressed.

Tyler does exist, in all of us, to one extent or another. He's what we suppress to function in our society. Fight Club was the story of one who had an enormous amount suppressed, and when it cut loose, many followed his lead. I do see a lot of inner Tylers being revealed on anonymous message boards all the time. Doing things like bartlesby describes and more.

He wouldn't be wasting his time arguing with people who make signs and attend rallies. He would be out blowing something up.

One man's hero is another's villain. I guess there is a part of me, the part that hates going into a job for decades to live in this world who would. But the much greater part of me that just had Christmas Eve dinner with family in peace in a warm home, who doesn't think too much of Tyler's cause.
