To anyone who may be thinking that Aquaman is somehow a rip off of Thor or Black Panther, you are wrong. The archetype of the Reluctant King has been a common trope in myth based stories for thousands of years. Aquaman is not a Black Panther knock off, it is in fact a King Arthur knock off.

I don't think that's always completely correct. Flash Gordon existed before Star Wars but "Flash Gordon" 1980 was still a knock off of Star Wars.  |

If it was a Batman movie instead it’d make more money, helped the DCEU more, and honestly been much more interesting. |
