I actually find them very overrated and not huge on their catalog at all. Regardless of genre assignment they are an outstanding live experience. Love a lot of their stuff, a lot I don't. I had called it quits after Pop but then All That You Can't Leave Behind knocked my socks off - as did the live tour that accompanied it ( Liam Gallagher famously said after seeing a show that Oasis are clearly not the best live band around). I purchased How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and hated all but 2 tracks on it, and I have not heard a thing they have released since. I would rather keep going back to the first 10 albums, obliterate Pop from the 10 and die in ignorance about the rest!

I don't mind them. I like their well known hits, but I never really felt the need to explore them any further than that.
