Trick r Treat -A Halloween-themed anthology movie, set in one messed up town.
It (Chapter One) -Surprisingly enjoyable Stephen King adaptation. Not without flaws, but the best one based on his stuff for some time. Now highest grossing horror movie.
Blade Runner 2049 -Very long-winded, slow, but a visual treat. Best enjoyed by arthouse snobs like me. ๐
Ready Player One -A really cool futuristic adventure from Spielberg, based on the book. Loaded with references to get geeks excited. My fave moment: a character goes through a selection of weapons to use against a villain, and picks the Glaive from Krull. Other cool moments: the Back to the Future DeLorean with Knight Rider LED lights, 1953 War of the Worlds Martian war machines, an entire world based on The Shining, a character avatar in the likeness of Toshiro Mifune riding to battle on the spaceship Serenity and putting on Gundam armour to fight Mechagodzilla, 60s Batmobile, Alien chestburster sock puppet. Ones I missed on first viewing: Thundercats utility belt, Mad Max V8, the Pork Chop Express from Big Trouble in Little China.
Mission Impossible: Fallout -A first time viewing when I do watch it. It was because of this film they did that shit upper lip effect on Superman in Justice League. ๐
Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3 -Groovy! The last season, thanks to studio execs being assholes.
The Equalizer -Not the movie, the TV show. Never watched it but always wanted to.
South Park Seasons 1-20 -Screw you guys!!!

BR2049 was just fantastic.
Ready player One was shallow but entertaining. Loved all the easter eggs and references, but the movie doesnt get much deeper than that, imo.
TrickRTreat was good.
IT is fantastic.
