house. I can't go back to the apartment life. I just can't having a $204 rent increase out of nowhere and a $201 charge for leaving. having to wait 6 months for a repair that was guaranteed to be fixed within 2 days because the only 2 maintenance workers are the only 2 for every apartment owned by the same company within a 170 mile radius.

I've lived in the same complex for almost 19 years. A $204 rent increase is outrageous. Mine never went up more than $15 a year.

kls lucky. Another company had purchased the property and decided to raise the rent to "market value". The rent in washington state is ridiculous. I have a friend that works at Nintendo. The 3 bedrooms at her low-income complex are almost as much as the mortgage here in Pennsylvania.

An apartment. Don't really want to deal with a house. It can sometimes seem to be a lot to take on.

I live with both parents separately each week, one has a house and the other has a condo. I just voted for house. Interesting. Is it a nuisance or do you like it? I've wondered how exactly that works. All your things, like your computer, gaming consoles, speakers etc. Do you move them to and fro? Or do you have 1 of each at both houses? What about your Blu-ray, game collections etc, how would that work?

In a little cottage smack in the middle of a bronze age burial site in the woods. The house is more than 300 years old and built on top of a medieval house, that was built on top of a viking longhouse. No, i'm not afraid of ghosts.

I always bring my handheld electronics (phone, iPad) and game console back and forth, but leave computers at each place. I also bring movies on occasion.

Apartment with q mortgage and maintenance. Something happens within the building, you're fine.
You're on your own if you own a home.
Still can't trust landlords. Stories of people waiting years for repairs that should have been taken cared of asap?
