Encapsulation of the Patriots' chances this postseason: ![](https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--QJmz5For--/c_scale,f_auto,fl_progressive,q_80,w_800/bgmwduzp06khd0oovenc.jpg) Uh ... the Patriots won that game. Is that what you’re trying to tell us, Ace? That the Patriots will persevere, despite the obstacles? It’s a nice sentiment. I approve of this message!

The Browns ALMOST had a winning season. That would have been their first since Noah learned to swim. What are the odds on them making the playoffs next season? I'll put some money on that

Who committed the game's only turnover, in the final 2 minutes of the game? Who broke the Super Bowl record for yards in a game? Most yards in a Super Bowl is as irrelevant as winning Miss Congeniality in the Miss Universe Pageant. Points and turnovers are the 2 most important stats in a Super Bowl. And Foles beat Shady Brady in both categories.

Do you remember a user from the old board named Death163? That guy was like Anne Hathaway Fan on steroids and his bullshit was in a special class of its own. I actually do remember him. I am not a huge Brady fan, but I get sick of the constant bashing.
Brady: 505 yards, 3 TDs, no picks Foles: 373 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT These are the Super Bowl numbers: Brady: 33 points, 505 yards, 3 TDs, 1 turnover in final 2 minutes when game was still undecidedFoles: 41 points, 373 yards, 3 TDs Like I said in my previous post, most yards in a Super Bowl is as irrelevant as winning Miss Congeniality in the Miss Universe Pageant. Points and turnovers are the most important stats in a Super Bowl. And Foles beat Shady Brady in both categories. Sure, he had that huge fumble late, but Foles had some bad plays as well. And that huge fumble in the final 2 minutes basically sealed the win for the Eagles. Foles' didn't make a mistake so critical that it cost his team the game.

Brady has every Super Bowl record that matters, including most wins for any QB. Your complaints that any of them are tainted have no bearing on anything. In other words, you are irrelevant.

I agree. That is why I say wins are more important than stats. And that is why I say Brees should be ahead of Mahomes.

And that record is as tainted as the home run records in MLB. Also, this thread is about how "past history" means nothing in the playoffs, which is why both Eli Manning and Nick Foles, playing in their 1st Super Bowls, kicked Shady Brady's ass.

It's only tainted in the minds of you and a few other fringe loonies. It is not officially tainted, nor is it tainted in the minds of a majority of sports fans.
Brady may have lost those 3 games, but in no way did Manning/Foles 'kick his ass' in them.
They were all 1 score games. Brady and Manning's performances were approximately equal. Brady was arguably better than Foles - way more yards, no interception, better average, better passer rating. I know you like to scream that he fumbled, but you can put that fumble on Mason just as much as you can put it on Brady.
Since I have your attention here, what's this site where you allegedly watch new movies online? I might want to use it.

We already know the Eagles won the pageant. The last time I checked, an interception is a turnover, so your entire argument rests on just the score dictating which QB performed better ... which is stupid. The universally accepted metric on QB play is the QB rating. According to the QB rating, Brady outperformed Foles while playing against a much better defense. Tom Brady wins the Miss Congeniality award! Woohoo!

these Pats aren't much of a threat anymore. The only way Gronk gets another title is if he retires from the NFL and joins the WWE. LOL! ... this is fun!

In all fairness, Foles did not outduel Brady. Who committed the game's only turnover, in the final 2 minutes of the game? It wasn't the game's only turnover, troglodyte.
