My favorite would have to be O Holy Night. Not only is it the best Christmas song but quite possibly also one of the greatest songs of all time as well. The only problem is choosing which version of it. My 2 favorites would be:

My favourite traditional Christmas song is "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" - even though it gets harder to hear year after year. I love the Frank Sinatra version most, with the Michael Buble version and Kenny G version a very close second.
My favourite traditional non-denominational song is "Sleigh Ride". All versions of it are good, but I LOVE the acapella version done by Pentatonix. I keep it my iPod all year round. You know....to help me get thru the hot summer months.
My favourite non-traditional Christmas song is "Last Christmas" - originally done by Wham!. Of course, the original is the best. However, Jimmy Eat World does do a good cover version of it.
Coming in a close second for non-traditional is a song that I heard yesterday: "We Need A Little Christmas" - originally done by the Glee Cast.
Of course, when I got home, I had to download it from iTunes.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

"Troika" from the Lieutenant Kijé Suite by Sergei Prokofiev. Almost everyone knows this tune but doesn't know the name. It wasn't written to be a Christmas song, but it became one.

Besides everything in the Karloff Grinch, I like Carol of the Bells. Has kind of an edge to it.
There's also a really badass cover in Rules of Attraction:

Well I said to Lindsey , "Hey Babe ! , you're just the coolest ! And no one is as groovy a musician as you ! How about a few Christmas songs for the Forum" ? Well , she went really still and her body tensed , and then she said "Here take this" -
Oh man, I remember this annoying and pretentious woman from years ago. She's still around? WTF. Someone needs to tell this talentless hack that dancing around like an idiot playing a violin does not make you a good musician. Someone should also teach her that a violin is supposed to be accompanied with other instruments in a band or orchestra, not played on it's own wit6h some boring simple computer beats and dubstep thrown in the background. I did watch the one featuring Lzzy Hale (a real and talented musician) though, just so I could hear her wonderful vocals. The music was weak though. I sampled a bit of the other ones but couldn't bear to listen to them in completion. Crappy stuff. I might check out the one featuring Sabrina Carpenter though because she's hot. I really hope you were being ironic with your post. This is not good music.
