Aquaman was fun like The Meg A bit dragged out.
I noticed a few refs over to Marvel.

Also, while I did enjoy Aquaman, it is nowhere near BP. Yeah BP is still top dog for me this year as far as comic book movies go. Unless I love the fuck out of Venom. No. BP was marred for me because T'challa had a superior arc in Civil War. BP was too long. Aquaman was fun at least, even if it was too drawn out as well.

Where exactly is "everywhere"? Links or it never happened Everytime DC doesn't completely crap the bed (Wonder Woman, Aquaman), there's always going to be comment sections throwing around term "better than all the Marvel movies" like it's nothing. It's funny how many people on Youtube are acting like this reinvented the wheel or something.

That's a pretty low bar for Aquaman. I don't even think there is anything memorable in Ant Man and the Wasp other than the post credit scene.

It was also Stan Lee’s last cameo when he was still alive, now that he’s gone. So we do have that. There’ll still be more in CM and Endgame but they’ll be posthumous cameos.

IMO, out of the comic-book movies this year, Aquaman is better than DP2 and that's it. Maybe better than Venom too, but i had a better time watching Venom. It also helps that Tom Hardy is a great actor and Jason Momoa has...great muscles i guess

Oh I thought Aquaman was much better than Ant-man and the Wasp. That's probably the weakest MCU movie they've made so far.

Aquaman 8/10. Ant-Man and the Wasp 9/10. So Aquaman is not better.

also I see people cant keep talking about the amazing visuals of aqua man which helped the story a lot unlike black panther and his bad cgi that brought down the story.so , what is going on guys? the truth at this point must be burning too bright. If you think "bad CGI" can bring down a story, you're probably not mature enough to grasp the movie's themes and ideas anyway. Come at me, bro! Not only is this wrong, it's a copout response. "Not mature enough", get out of here with that nonsense. One has nothing to do with the other. Special effects can absolutely ruin a viewing experience. If you don't believe what you are seeing, you're taken right now the movie. In addition the Black Panther, another great example of that is Man of Steel. It's actually a well acted movie, but just look so damn fake.

Oh I thought Aquaman was much better than Ant-man and the Wasp. That's probably the weakest MCU movie they've made so far. Good for you. I thought it was better than the first Ant-Man. Ant-Man and the Wasp - 8.5/10 Aquaman - 7/10

If anything you said there was even remotely true, nobody would go to the theatre and films like Toy Story and the Incredibles would have 0% audience ratings. Good, or even passable special effects are a bonus and nothing more, which is why people can enjoy CGI heavy films from the early 2000's. Bad CGI is just as valid an art form as anything else.

Bad CGI is lazy film making. Or a stylistic choice. "Bad" is subjective and really vague when you think about it. Black Panther has the best CGI I've seen in a film, but if I thought it was bad, it still wouldn't bother me because I'm not 12.

Aquaman was better than IM, IM2, IM3, Thor, TDW, Avengers, AoU, BP, CA:FA, AM, AMatW, and Civil War. Ragnarok, DS, and WS are equal to Aquaman. Infinity War was better than Aquaman What about TIH, GOTG, GOTG2 and SMH?
