Multiple questions here:
Would you like it?
Would you dislike it?
Would they allow it?
Would they never allow it?
Should they allow it?
Should they never allow it?
Other.
Feel free to elaborate!

Not like he’s from Marvel to begin with, but I still would’ve liked it regardless of what Universe it’s from.

It should remain in its own universe.

Well, it certainly feels more like an MCU movie than a DCEU movie, so it would fit right in. I always said that Momoa looks far more like Namor than Aquaman. Technically, you just need to change a few names in the movie, shave Momoa's beard, change a few costumes and it would make a pretty decent Namor movie already.

It wouldn't have been poorly written, thus making it better, thus I'd probably like it. It felt like a MCU production in the trailers, but it ended up being closer to Green Lantern. Aquaman is like Ragnarok or Guardians if those films weren't making fun of themselves half the time, but were ridiculous unintentionally. Ronan for example is a lousy one-note villain but he works in that film because the heroes (who aren't even heroes) don't even take him seriously. Hell, Star-Lord infamously challenges him to a dance contest with the galaxy on the line. Meanwhile, King Orm is hamming it up the entire time and Aquaman uses legitimate machismo to defeat him, as if it was an 80s action movie. Orm is somehow treated as a serious character who Arthur wants to reconcile with at the end, even after the cringeworthy "RIIIIIIIIIIIIIISE ATLANTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
