I think a lot of people have said Gotti.

Since I have only seen a little over 20 movies dated 2018 by the movie database and since I try very, very hard to NOT see bad movies, I don't have many choices to make. Probably "Proud Mary" is the least of the current films I have seen from this year.

I can't imagine any major motion picture being worse than Gotti. From the awful acting, incoherent editing, terrible direction and pacing then finally, making its violent title mobster into a misunderstood hero who made his city safer, the film is a great example on how not to make a film. Seriously, I can't believe people saw a cut of this turd and said "Yup, release it to theaters!"
The Meg, the giant killer shark movie with Jason Statham, was quite also terrible. It's a film about a 50+foot prehistoric killer shark rising from the depths, but most of the film spends time with....the boring human characters on a science station? The shark barely kills any of the main characters (or anybody in the climactic beach scene) thereby taking away the suspense and just drags and drags. What was the point of having Statham character's ex-wife at all? I've never seen a big budget horror movie misuse a monster so badly! It felt like a cuddly family movie and a giant shark awkwardly inserted in.
The Predator was also terrible and my biggest disappointment of the summer. Here we had Shane Black behind the camera and script and we get a lazy rehash of the previous films with unfunny "comedy" and bland characters. It's easily the weakest of the four standalone Predator films and even the mediocre Predators had more life than this.
Other bad ones I saw:
A Wrinkle in Time Winchester
Rampage Skyscraper - I like Dwayne Johnson as a person, appreciate his charisma and hard-working approach to life, but man, he really needs to challenge his screen persona and hire better production teams for his films. They're mostly all bland, toothless studio fare with no lasting value.

I am sure people trying to find bad movies might be able to find worse on some level but out of the 34 movies I have seen released in 2018 The Nun (2018) takes the prize as I gave it a 2/10 as it's boring as it's the only movie I could not finish viewing due to boredom and turned it off at the 1hr mark. but just to list all of the movies I gave a 4/10 (i.e. below average) or less so far for 2018... -Revenge (2017-2018) - 4-4.5/10 (this movie was kind of good on some level, more of the visual style, but overall it's pretty dull at the end of the day) -Tomb Raider - 3/10 -Thoroughbreds (2017-2018) - 4/10 -The Nun - 2/10 p.s. although out of the movies I gave a 5/10 the one closest to getting a 4/10 is... Black Panther. it was pretty much boring for the first 35min or so and then became watchable.
Yeah, outside of F&F series the only movie of his worth re-watching, at least for me, is Baywatch (2017) (6/10).

Maybe seen twenty 2018 films, the one I enjoyed least was probably Crazy Rich Asians or Skyscraper.

Kind of hard to do that due to his typecasting and the fat paychecks he gets from these bland, toothless studio fare.

Agreed, Slender Man.
Although I knew that would suck, so I’m tempted to say Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom because that was a steaming pile of shit when it could have been really good.

I've only seen 22 movies of 2018 yet, but out of those 'Sierra Burgess Is A Loser' is probably the worst one.

I just avoid bad movies these days so it is hard for me to pick a worst. Predator was trash and I saw that, but I am sure there were plenty of worse movies this year.

So how bad is 7 Days in Entebbe? I watched the old Operation Thunderbolt a long time ago and it was a pretty decent presentation of events. I heard this one had musical numbers or interpretative dancing in it? True?
