Link: sports.yahoo.com/report-matt-patricia-consistently-late-meetings-caps-difficult-season-first-year-lions-coach-021749775.htmlSo apparently he is always late to meetings whether they are media or team related. How the hell could that be tolerated as the head of a franchise? It honestly just seems so unprofessional. Not only is he late he also questions the "posture" of media members as they ask him questions. Seriously, this dude has become my most hated head coach in the NFL. What the fuck have you done to feel like you have earned the right to do such things? You got hired after giving up a shit ton of points to the Eagles in the Super Bowl. Matt Patricia in my mind if all of this is true has burned his bridge as a head coach in the span of one year. I'd fire his ass once the final second of the last game ended. The Belichick coaching tree just continues to not look very impressive.

He questions not only the posture but also the "professionalism" of media members - while turning up late to every meeting and media session and generally looking like a pile of dirty laundry. That said, I think the Lions keep him because I can't see the owners being willing to go back to square one just yet.

The Lions are a dumpster fire regardless so I could see them firing him and rebuilding yet again. Patricia seems like he is trying to be Belichick but has no resume to do so. He hasn't won jack shit and does this? I have hated on Mike McCarthy for a while but at least he was professional. Patricia is a loser (Lions Record Wise) and an unprofessional asshole. I'd fire his ass right after the season ended.

He seems to have lost interest in the job before a single year is over. Sad.

He was a shitty defensive coordinator and he's a shitty head coach. I'd fire him.

When will teams learn not to hire a coach from the Bill Belichick tree? Crennel - sucked. Weiss - sucked. McDaniels - sucked for putting his eggs in the Tebow basket and then for the bullshit in Indianapolis. Patricia - sucks. Vrabel seems like he could become a decent coach, but he was never an assistant under Belichick.

Yeah, he's not on the hot seat for this year. When will teams learn not to hire a coach from the Bill Belichick tree? Crennel - sucked. Weiss - sucked. Vrabel seems like he could become a decent coach, but he was never an assistant under Belichick. Belichick is not a mentoring guy. Do your job. Don't ask why, and don't be concerned with anyone else's job. You're an OC or a DC, and that's it. He's not going to explain strategy in a way that the guy can take it elsewhere. The pencil thing www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2018/01/09/lions-matt-patricia-explains-why-he-keeps-pencil-his-ear/1017818001/

Considering his strategy for success is having Tom Brady, there isn't much he can explain to anyone.

Patricia is a loser (Lions Record Wise) and an unprofessional asshole. No surprise that another Belichick protégé would be an unprofessional asshole. It started with Belichick being an unprofessional asshole, agreeing to be head coach of the Jets and then backing out, followed by McDaniels being an unprofessional asshole, agreeing to be head coach of the Colts and then backing out. In the NCAA, when a player commits to a school and then changes his mind and wants to play somewhere else, he can do that but he has to sit out a year. That's what should've happened to those unprofessional assholes Belichick and McDaniels. They should've been suspended from coaching in the NFL for 1 year for pulling the unprofessional shitty stunts that they did. But Goodell is Kraft's best friend and has always been lenient on Kraft and the Patriots despite numerous repeated rules violations.

It was really the cheating, not the coaches or players, that was responsible for those championships.

Hold on there Sparky, the only coaching tree that’s almost as bad as Belichick’s is Jimmy Johnson’s.

With the Cowboys, we know it was the players not the coaches that were responsible for those championships. Those players won a Super Bowl with a moron like Barry Switzer as head coach so that's how good those players were. With the Pats, we know it was the cheating, not the coaches or players, that was responsible for those championships.

The truckloads of cocaine and hookers didn’t hurt either.

The truckloads of cocaine and hookers didn’t hurt either. Another failed attempt to defend the Patriots' cheating by ReyKahuka . The article says the Cowboys filmed opposing team's signals, which isn't against the rules. It's filming from the sidelines, which the Patriots did, that's against the rules and is cheating.
Jimmy Johnson has been on record as saying specifically that the Cowboys had their camera guy up in the press booth, which isn't against the rules. Matt Walsh was filming for the Patriots from the sidelines, which is against the rules and is cheating. It's like if 1 guy gets a stock tip on a company from a relative who works at that company (which is illegal) and another guy gets a stock tip on that company from a relative who has no association with that company (which isn't illegal). Both guys receive stock tips about the same company, but 1 guy's stock tips were illegal and the other guy's stock tips weren't illegal. And the claim "What difference does it make where you film?" is another weak excuse. Filming from a different location can give you a much better angle to see what it is you're filming? Why do you think the Home Plate Umpire often asks the 1st Base or 3rd Base Umpire for help on check-swing calls? Because the angle o see if the batter swung through is clearer from 1st Base or 3rd Base than from behind Home Plate. Why do you think some angles of instant reply are inconclusive while other angles of instant replay are more conclusive? Because the location where the camera is can make a huge difference as to what can be seen. The NFL prohibited filming from the sidelines because they felt that gave too much of an advantage. The Patriots violated that rule and thus gained a huge advantage over their opponents. And that advantage is what contributed to the Patriots winning their championships, by cheating.

... scoffing at the idea that “spygate” was any sort of “cheating”. He has been a big defender of Bill Belichick. Possibly the most vocal among NFL coaches. No doubt JJ would bitch-slap DC-Fan into next week if he caught wind of his idiotic statements. Of course, he would have to get in line.
