We all know Disney is planning 19 remakes of their classics and one of them is Aladdin, so it's obvious we will need a new voice for the Genie, so who would you choose to give his voice to this character ?
My top 3 would be:

Robert Downey Jr
Johnny Depp

Louis CK would be great as the genie! I'd also be interested to hear Jim Carrey's take. Seems also like it could be a role totally built for the legend, Billy West. I wish Jim Varney was still around to take a crack at it too. |

Robert Downey Jr. Would make sense since he's worked with Guy Ritchie. Yes, that's part of why i suggested him though John Favreu might want him too since he is already doing The lion king live Action and worked with Robert in Iron Man. |

I'd rather have an actual voice actor play the role than a celebrity doing impressions.
John DiMaggio, Kevin Michael Richardson, Tom Kenny... and plenty more to pick from.

Ryan Reynolds comedic voice inflectio in Deadpool is a good start for him to voice the Genie.
