m.youtube.com/watch?v=NtSTf0NOVqA4 years ago!! What is even going on? He’s box office dynamite, everyone loves him and he would fit so in the universe. I don’t care about money lost up to the point, movies the general audience or critics didn’t like, or even miscasts. Make the next movie good and people forget about that stuff. But this is the real thing that needs to be fixed right now. Consider this: The Rock was cast before BvS even started filming. Remember the BvS announcement SDCC teaser? How freaking long ago does that feel? Rock was talking about accepting a DC role at that comic con but couldn’t say what it was. Now consider this: BVS shot in 2014 and early 2015, didn’t come out until 2016, 2 years after principal photography. Wonder Woman is already done filming but won’t come out for nearly 2 years. DC loves to take their time in post production. The Rock was 41 when he first talked about getting a DC superhero role. If it films in 2020 (2019 unlikely as we’ve heard about a dozen other dc movies getting scripts and this is a nada), then is finally released 2 years later, Dwayne Johnson will be 50 years old. What a lost opportunity. Anyway, who embodies a DC superhero to you?

Charlie Hunnam - Green Arrow Armie Hammer - Booster Gold Karl Urban - Batman Glen Powell - Hal Jordan Nicolas Cage - The Question Alexandra Daddario - Zatanna Kathryn Winnick - Black Canary A decent list. One glaring issue though is Amber Heard part 2. Though a better actress than Amber, Alexandra would have never made it this far without her looks. We need a diverse actress who can be extravangant while closed off at the same time for Zatara. |

havenless I think that's her father. But as for Zatanna, how about Katie McGrath (Merlin, Frontier)? She's got this vampish Rachel Weisz thing going on. And the boobs, that's important too. She is the next Zatara, it’s both of them. I was thinking Zooey Deschanel if she didn’t have the David Duchovny monotone voice problem. He gets brought up a lot for numerous characters and was apparently up for Hawkeye.
I think he’d make a great Green Arrow or Green Lantern. Maybe a decent Question. People suggest him for Red Hood since he voiced the character but I think he’s too old for that now.
Armie Hammer has always been my choice for Booster Gold. But it’s mostly because he seems like he’s a good fit but also that WB might actually consider hiring him. But I always thought the much lesser known Ryan McPartlin looks and sounds exactly how I imagine Booster Gold would.

The most deserving actors would be fresh talent ready to give a familiar character a new face. But if we go with established actors: Sir Mark Hamill, he played a villain in the Flash series, and he was a formidable Joker. He is really a solid and iconic actor. Maybe give him somethin so he can wipe away the bitter sweet aftertaste of the green milk out of that alien's testicle-breasts.  |

I wouldn't call the Rock box office dynamite. Majority of movies where he plays lead don't exactly become box office hits outside of a few. And when you consider just how expensive the guy is, well, it's a risky investment.
Right now I think Joe Manganiello deserves a proper cbm where he plays lead. The guy has "superhero material" written all over him. He was supposed to be Superman but had scheduling conflicts and it ended up being given to Cavill.
