Greatest year? 1997 maybe, that's when we first got it, first week there was a Dr. Seuss marathon, you could see Freakazoid, Taz-Mania, the cartoon cartoons, late at night was the old Tex Avery, Chuck Jones cartoons, even going back to the black and white days of Popeye. I think it was great from '97 to '00, or maybe '01, possibly '02, Toonami kept it great with Dragonball Z, Reboot, Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, etc., but then just went downhill from there. Whatever time Dexter's Lab got the second version with everybody being badly drawn, that's around when I stopped watching. Yes, I remember tex avery coming on later Sunday nights, and when they had shows like jibberjaw, speed racer, kung-fu phoey, speed buggy, and josie and the pussycats. And Sunday evening Crime Inc., A Pup Named Scooby Doo, Jabber Jaws, Batman: TAS, etc., I loved that too. |

Yes, I remember tex avery coming on later Sunday nights, and when they had shows like jibberjaw, speed racer, kung-fu phoey, speed buggy, and josie and the pussycats. And Sunday evening Crime Inc., A Pup Named Scooby Doo, Jabber Jaws, Batman: TAS, etc., I loved that too. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention the show "O Canada!" Do you remember that show? It used to come on Sunday nights. |

Totally loved alot of the shows in the late 90's. I was hooked on Dragonball Z, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory, Courage, Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Samurai Jack, Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes, and a few others. I like Rick and Morty, Metalocalypse, Squidbillies, and a few others now of days. I noticed Cartoon Network over the past few years the toons are getting dumber, and same with the quality of the animation. When they put out a cartoon called barely naked animals, uncle grandpa, 2 stupid dogs, that's when I started to get pretty worried it was going wrong.
I really miss the late night cartoons Inuyasha, Dragonball, Yu Yu Hakusho, and a few others.
I would say the channel been going down hill around 10 to lately. If I turn it on lately it's the late night cartoons. Already tired of the hours of back to back of Family Guy, and American Dad. They need to come up with some newer cartoons.
