Anyone else feeling them? I really enjoy the lead up to Christmas with the songs and lights and such. Kind of sucks that it's over. No, I feel absolutely fine.
I had no expectations for Xmas, so I'm not suffering from any post-event depression.

I am ready to go back to work. I require some structure in my life, and being off for the past 9 days, with 2 more to go is driving me crazy!

Christmas is a season, not just a day. It's unlike any other holiday in that sense. There's a lot of build up, activities leading up to (and even for a bit after) it, so I get you.
I wouldn't say I'm depressed, but I feel disappointed. The holidays were a mad fucking dash this year. I spent almost no time at home enjoying my gifts or time off. I hate that shit. It was just going to different places every day or two. I didn't even watch many Christmas movies. I watched The Long Kiss Goodnight. THAT'S IT. That flat out pisses me off.

I feel that way every year. Same way after Halloween too. January is my least favorite month. The holiday joy is over, but it's still dark and cold.

Halfway through Christmas Day I already want it to be over.

January 2nd always feels like losing 10 lbs. Holidays are pretty much a 6 week run nowadays, it's maxed out as it is. Christmas tree lights turned off Jan 2nd, tree down by the 10th.
Spring clothing shopping commences Feb, winter can stfu & gtfo.
