Final regular season NFL Sunday of the year, what are everyone’s thoughts? Well, I hope my steelers win and I hope the Browns win, giving us a playoff seed. Reminds me of several years ago in 2013.
For the Steelers to be in, they needed 4 things to happen:
1. The Steelers had to beat the Browns (0-15)
2. Jets (7-8) had to beat the Dolphins (8-7)
3. Ravens (8-7) had to lose to the Bengals (11-4) who had clinched a playoff spot.
4. KC (11-5) had to beat the Chargers (8-7).
The first three were 1 oclock games and miraculously happened. I was at a Steelers bar and everyone was excited.
Now, the Chiefs were coming on. Much to our horror, because they could only be a wildcard, Andy Reid put in the third string against the Chargers.
Miraculously, the Chiefs stayed in the game. It all came down to a field goal, which if made, would give Chiefs a victory and put the Steelers in the playoffs.
 This is one of the most obvious penalties to not be called that I have ever seen. I remember yelling about it as soon as it happened, and the announcers being confused as well.
Missed playoffs by this much....Of course, the refs later apologized for the nonpenalty called, but by then the Steelers weren't in the playoffs.

Texans and Jags tied at 3.
Bills up 14-0 on the Fins, the Fins have quit, it’s truly pathetic to watch, they don’t give a fuck, it’s time to fire Gase and dump Tannehill.

Kyle Williams last game for the Bills. 13 seasons, six Pro Bowls. He could have left years ago and not played for the Bumbling Bills. Actually played meaningful games. But he stayed.

Lions up 14 nothing on a pathetic shell of what kinda resembles a football team and calls itself the Green Bay packers. |

Lots of tryouts going on in the booth as well. Pat McAfee is doing color on the Packers-Lions games. Some woman (I think Beth Mowins) is doing one of the CBS games.

That said, it does look like the Pat's will get the bye. |
