This is why scientists and atheists are so confused. They think they know everything because of the affects they've seen from brain studies, but what they see is a product of the brain on consciousness, which has nothing to do with awareness.
They can't understand that awareness only uses the brain. It is not like the conscious/subconscious of the brain.
Sometimes I feel sorry for them.

I was simply trying to show you a way your post could have been true if you had been using the term as a layperson with qualifications, not the way scientists do. Awareness in the higher vertebrates is, in fact, built up through evolution from the primitive mechanisms of the sort I described. |

I can't be bothered anymore as it has become so self evident for all to see. Even if one believes in the soul, it is evident that the brain is the vehicle for physical awareness. It's as if she's saying a headless body with a beating heart kept alive on life support would still be aware! It boggles the mind. |
