One for the Game Of Thrones fans. Jerome Flynn aka Bronn, and his brief musical career with fellow actor Robson Green
Brief and very successful...3 singles, 3 number ones, 2 million+ singles sold, 3 million+ albums. And it made Simon Cowell a major player in the music biz.

Obviously a satire, but I like it! Satire! Why? A saw it as a comedienne spoofing a cute song like the ones Shelley Fabares and Annette Funcicello did in the sixties.

A saw it as a comedienne spoofing a cute song like the ones Shelley Fabares and Annette Funcicello did in the sixties. I don't think she ever treated her (surprisingly successful) music career as a joke. She was aiming, as with all her records for evoking a nostalgic sound, and the song posted is a pretty faithful cover of Kirsty MacColl's (Her labelmate on stiff) original. Listening to them recently, she made some pretty good pop records

I actually prefer this to the original by the Vapors.
Jack Palance tried to be a country singer, lol.
