Has there already been a thread to this? Anyway, I was late to the party big time, but I FINALLY got around to this one. Really great stuff I must say. James McAvoy really owned the role (or is it roles? Lol) as the psychotic Dennis with split personalities. Anya Taylor Joy was also a solid final girl(ish) and what happened to her in her past really helped carry the movie in terms of her instinct of survival. However, I just wish that the Unbreakable twist was better done. People of today haven’t seen that movie from a decade and a half ago. Cause from what I heard it was a HUGE deal but it ended up becoming so subtle, it may as well not of been there. If they’d show Sam L. Jackson maybe, it would be more recognizable. But yeah, best Shyamalan film in a long time. Third place next to his first two directorial works. Can’t wait for Glass!
