That's because the Nolan trilogy isn't a franchise. They're part of the DC franchise. The TDK franchise IS a franchise. Even Box Office Mojo lists the TDK franchise as a franchise: www.boxofficemojo.com/franchises/. There's no such thing as the "DC franchise". DC has a Superman franchise, a Batman franchise, a TDK franchise, a Wonder Woman franchise, a DCEU franchise. But there's no such thing as a "DC franchise". And the TDK franchise is universally considered to be the best superhero franchise ever. So this thread is another failed bait thread by the OP. A Batman franchise you say? I guess that means the TDK trilogy is part of the Batman franchise then.

Yes, all DC movies since Superman: The Movie are basically 1 big franchise so this board should probably be called DC Movies or DC Multiverse. Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy and the Christopher Reeve Superman movies are all part of DC's movies so why should they not be included with the other DC movies? Like shooting fish in a barrel ...

Those aren’t the categories established in the OP. I don’t see any self-proclaimed 20th Century Fox fans or Sony fans around here ... do you? What did I say about your personal opinion? Tell it to your mom ... if she cares.

Chris Nolan. Neither Marvel, Fox, Don't or DC/WB have top Nolan. Nah. Let's be honest, the Nolan trilogy wouldn't be that great if it wasn't for TDK. And you'd need more than 1 great movie for you to be considered the greatest franchise. Besides, if we consider the Nolan trilogy a franchise of its own then we can easily consider CATWS, CW and IW a franchise on its own as well. Bs. that is like saying xmen wont be great without logan.
tdk already had batman begins as xmen already had X2.
tdkr was a good solid effort still based on artistry. something mcu movies are not.
i have never said nolan is a god who can do no wrong but at least he makes his own movies. directors dont make mcu movies. so nolan movies by default are better.

so nolan movies by default are better. Nolan movies isn’t a catagory. They are grouped in with the other DC movies. If you want to separate the Nolan movies from the rest of DC, then individually they both fare even worse in the OP analysis. There is strength in numbers. DC as a whole benefits from the inclusion of S:TM and TDK together. But, if you really want to separate them, then the Nolan movies hang onto 2nd place and DC drops into the loser group. Fine by me, either way.

Nah. Let's be honest, the Nolan trilogy wouldn't be that great if it wasn't for TDK. And you'd need more than 1 great movie for you to be considered the greatest franchise. The Dark Knight franchise has 3 great movies. All 3 movies have an IMDb rating of 8.3 or higher and all 3 movies are in the IMDb top 116. Even on RT (which MCU fans love to use as a metric), all 3 movies have an RT rating of 84% or higher. No other superhero franchise even comes close to having all of their movies rated so high.if we consider the Nolan trilogy a franchise of its own then we can easily consider CATWS, CW and IW a franchise on its own as well. IW is supposed to be part of the Avengers franchise, not the Captain America franchise. If we compare the 3 Cap movies with the 3 TDK movies, the TDK franchise wins easily. If we compare the 3 Avengers movies with the 3 TDK movies, the TDK franchise still wins easily. The First Avenger: 80% RT Winter Soldier: 89% RT Civil War: 91% RT You were saying???

Batman begins 150% TDK 200% TDKR 170%
You were saying?
funny mcu fans were the one who said RT never mattered when wonder woman was placed first. I dont do hypocrisy . at least I am consistent.
the thing with mcu fans they can only argue with rt. they rely on bullshit things like RT.
Remember 2016. deadpool was the best comic film that year and still got lower score than civil war and dr strange? if deadpool had been an mcu movie the score will have been a 98%

Oh, are we just making up numbers now? Heck, then I give Thor TDW a 120% rating.

Those ratings are ridiculous. Batman Begins should clearly have the 170% and The Dark Knight Rises the 150%.
Just kidding.

at least I am consistent. Consistantly wrong is not a virtue. Just ask the poster known as Always Wrong. What planet are you on today, fella? You’re posting that drivel in a MCU fan thread that relies on 10 different sources. Go ahead, label them all bullshit ... like you’re labeling all the film awards, bullshit ... and all opposing views, bullshit. I need a good laugh.

The Batman franchise is: Batman Batman Returns Batman Forever Batman & Robin The TDK franchise is: Batman Begins The Dark Knight The Dark Knight Rises Those are 2 different and separate franchises. It's similar to how the Planet of the Apes franchises are 2 different and separate franchises. The 1st Planet of the Apes franchise is: Planet of the Apes Beneath the Planet of the Apes Escape from the Planet of the Apes Conquest of the Planet of the Apes Battle for the Planet of the Apes And the 2nd Planet of the Apes franchise is: Rise of the Planet of the Apes Dawn of the Planet of the Apes War for the Planet of the Apes Each is a different and separate franchise. Do you understand that now? Or do you need me to explain it to you again? OK, so now that we've established that the TDK trilogy is a franchise and different and separate form all other DC movie franchises, let's get back to the point. And the point is the TDK trilogy is universally regarded as the best superhero movie franchise ever. So the answer to the question "Who makes the best superhero movies?" is obviously DC since DC made the TDK trilogy, which is still universally regarded as the best superhero movie franchise ever.

The First Avenger: 80% RT Winter Soldier: 89% RT Civil War: 91% RT You were saying??? All 3 movies have an IMDb rating of 8.3 or higher and all 3 movies are in the IMDb top 116. Even on RT (which MCU fans love to use as a metric), all 3 movies have an RT rating of 84% or higher. IMDb rating of 8.3 or higher means the lowest IMDb rating of the 3 movies is 8.3. What's the lowest IMDb rating of the Captain America movies? IMDb top 116. Are any of the Captain America movies in the IMDb top 116? RT rating of 84% or higher means the lowest RT rating of the 3 movie is 84%. What's the lowest RT rating of the Captain America movies? (Like I said, no other superhero franchise even comes close to having all of their movies rated so high.)Except for the MCU. Every one of them is above 60% on RT, the lowest being 66% with Dark World, but even then, that's positive and "fresh" and everyone of them is above 60 on Metacritic with the exception of Iron Man 2 and the first Thor which most MCU fans acknowledge aren't as good anyways. So as usual, diaper-rash, you haven't proved anything.
