What do you think the story will be?? Who will be the villain(s)?? IF it does have Affleck in the lead role (which I hope it does). What kind of story would you do?? Should The Joker appear?? When should it release?? Thoughts??

Detective mystery story. Murder of Gordon. Some conspiracy and betrayal.
No joker. Fresh villain.
Batflek only in it if part of the DCEU. I would prefer an Elseworld approach with higher stakes.

I'd love if they adapted Hush in some capacity. But now, I'm kind of thinking they should introduce Robin into the story. I think people are more forgiving since the Schumacher days. Make it Damian Wayne.

Following the events of BvS and JL, Bruce Wayne keeps going back and forth on taking up the cowl again. We never get an answer and the movie ends.

very good suggestion in this context. This character would perfectly blend with a detective/mystery story if the riddles are interesting and well written. While being oversaturated with Batman as a character, I would look forward ton that. Yeah I have wanted to see a new movie version of The Riddler for awhile. |

The Joker wants to kill all of Batman's friends and family.
Batman mopes around and refuses to help.
He instead sends a hologram to distract ( but not fight ) the Joker.
People praise the film as daring and creative.

The villain should be Deathstroke. They already introduced him, why not use him properly? I know he was gonna be the villain when Affleck was going to direct but Reeves rewrote the script and might change the villain. |

In the present the Riddler carries out crimes with riddles that allude to Batman's past when he fought his most feared adversary, the Scarecrow. In the past we see Dick Grayson Robin and we find out what ever happened to him. We also meet Talia with whom Bruce has an affair. In the present we're introduced to their son Damian Wayne Robin.
Who is the Riddler and why does he taunt Batman with his past? Is the Scarecrow still alive and coming back? How are Talia and Damian involved and is Bruce ready to be a father? And who is the new vigilante in Gotham, Nightwing?

I had a similar idea which has Batman trying to figure out a mystery and in the course of it we flash back to the breakdown of Bruce's relationships with Dick & Barbara, the film ends with Bruce figuring out the crime, which was staged to taunt Batman for losing his "family" and ends with Bruce finally reaching out to Dick, this allows for a less spectacular Batman more grounded whilst also allowing for some of the more grandiose elements during the flashbacks and introduces Batgirl & Nightwing and the actors whilst establishing some backstory for them going forward
I like the Talia/Damon idea but imo that might be better as a post credit scene teasing what we could see in a sequel, which it can then focus on that, where as the first I think if you are going to connect it to a bigger world and story best tie in the stand alone film characters, as I don't think a Damian Wayne film is going to be a viable option for a while, Nightwing or Batgirl however that's easy money imo atleast.

Detective spree story with the Riddler and Deathstroke. Seems obvious to me. The must keep this different from the previous outings.
