Forest Green - North Ferriby United at The New Lawn for me tomorrow, with a keen eye on the other National League games (especially Tranny and Lincoln) at the business end of the season... (predicting a confident 4-0 to FGR tomorrow👍)...
At a loss for live football on Sunday now that FGR Ladies season is over, so will catch the Premier League radio commentaries on Sunday...

It is a shame you're new here, because there used to be a poster called Father Jack, and he supported Forest Green too! That said, he was a bit of a wrong 'un. yeah that's a shame alright... I could have told him how after being downbeat after watching Lincoln beat FGR in a pub in Bristol last Saturday, my day took a really good unexpected turn on my way to a Somerset County League 3 o clock kick off game... a fella stopped me in the street because I had an FGR shirt on... had a chat... it was only Steve Winter, Forest Green hero 97-99... part of the team that got us up to the conference 👍 Father Jack would have liked that. |

Last few weeks I have seen some of the most nerve-racking cricket that has been played in last few years. Test Cricket still remains the most absorbing, exciting and mentally exhausting sports for me. India narrowly edged Australia in a thrilling series to claim the Border-Gavaskar trophy. I will take rest this weekend or watch a movie instead. |

Hearts v Celtic in the league on Sunday.
Aberdeen play Dundee tonight. I think if they lose then Celtic are officially champions no matter what happens on Sunday.

Growing up in the Midwest my family always watched the Vikings on Sundays. I've been hardcore ever since. The Lakers moved out of Minneapolis before I was born, so the NBA was never very popular here. I became a Sixers fan in the late 70's while watching Dr. J, my favorite player of all-time, lead those great Sixers teams. Maurice Cheeks, Hersey Hawkins, Moses Malone, Bobby Jones, Darryl Dawkins, Charles Barkley, I loved them all. I played college basketball and watching Magic Johnson(Earvin back then) and Larry Bird dual it out in the 1979 NCAA Final hooked me as a fan. Still love it to this day. |
