Eleven years ago, a new franchise was born and paved the way for a novel approach to blockbuster filmmaking. With just eleven words.

Thank you RDJ for the great and fond memories of your brilliant performance and the care you put into the MCU.
I don’t know what else to say, but thank you.

remember when he said he wants to leave before it got embarrassing? sad since he never went higher than iron man 1. If we're talking purely RDJ, I think he was actually at his best in Iron Man 3. Unfortunately the movie as a whole... sucked. Could've been much better if they got rid of Killian and focused on the REAL Mandarin (laughable twist) and more of Tony's PTSD. And since the movie was mostly Tony without his suit, I think the end battle should've been him defeating the bad guy without it. What an awesome change-up of your standard superhero third act THAT would've been. But naw, instead they had like a 27 Iron Man suit battle with a big fireworks show of all his suits pointlessly destroyed because he immediately built more for Age of Ultron. Dumb.

If Endgame is the last we see of Tony Stark I hope he goes out gracefully.
This all started with him.

Yes, and hopefully they do not decide to recast the character down the road, unlike other iconic characters like Batman or Spider-Man its pretty hard to separate Iron Man from RDJ, I'd say the majority of non comic readers and general movie goers were first introduced to him because of Downey's performance.

Robert Downey Jr is the Tom Brady of superhero actors.
The GOAT.
Unfortunately, all good things must end.

Thank GOD . Look, he is a talented actor for sure but his smug schtick has grown stale over the years as Iron Man imo (he was so insufferable in Age of Ultron and IW that I wanted Thanos to snap him in half! lol) . His act has imo just become so tiresome. but I will definitely give him props for his role in the 1st Iron Man . That was flat out awesome (can't say the same about the IM sequels though good lord those sucked)

I think he should get killed in an epic way in Endgame. Heck, I would have been ok with him dying in Titan. I say if he needs to go, he should go out in a bang.

I also would have been okay with him dying on Titan. I have a sneaking suspicion that when all is said and done, he might be the only Avenger left. But if and or when it does go, he should be made an example of in some shockingly brutal manner. Something befitting his ego.
