I saw something once, pretty sure it was an episode of a TV show, where someone kidnaps people and turns them into mannequins. I think they are still alive as well.
What I remember is a scene of like a warehouse or garage with like a movie set or window display type of thing set up that appears to be a backyard summer scene. There are what appears to be mannequins posed but you realize they are actually people. I swear they are alive but I’m not 100% about that. I think I saw a tear running down one of their faces. I also believe the killer was a male. I keep picturing Dallas Roberts but it doesn’t seem to be him. I also think the kidnapper/killer was yelling at the “mannequins” or chit chatting with them like it was a real life scenario.
I thought it was an episode of Criminal Minds, and still think it could be, or possibly even Bones. I searched google and came up with two episodes of CM:
The Uncanny Valley - which is really close to what I was looking for but the killer was female and she turns people into dolls for like tea parties, so they are all sitting down with IVs so that isn’t it.
The Lesson - Brad Dourif turns people into marionettes. Real creepy but not what I was looking for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!!

It's not any of the movies you suggested but I'm wondering if "Marionette (2010)" is a Fringe episode? I'll definitely check that out because I've seen all of that show, so it's possible.
Thank you so much for your suggestions!!

The only thing that comes to MY mind is... Smallvile - Season 4 Episode 21 - "Forever" (May 11, 2005) However, The Smallville episode didn't take place in a "backyard summer scene"... " Clark must stop the school photographer after he sets up a secret simulated high school and begins kidnapping students to keep the glory days of high school going 'Forever'..." And when the students decided that they didn't want to play along, he would turn them into living statues. When they were living statues, they could easily break apart like glass... Which means, they would be dead.

So that's what Kelly McGillis was up to after Top Gun.

Sounds like Maniac (1980).
It also reminds me of an old episode of Tales of the Unexpected, "The Landlady."

Might be Living Dolls (1980) if not the B horror film Tourist Trap although I'm guessing more recent from your post.

There is an absurd UK-Comedy film from the 70ies or 80ies, it's part of the "carry on "-series. Watch the Trailer and you'll instantly know if that's the one. The lunatic is turning young women into mannequins who he is having abducted by some artificial Frankenstein-like ogre. No real horror movie but incredibly silly and funny! check 0:55 www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxmI3b9XLWU
