Yep. My sports enthusiasm has dropped a bit over the years but I usually tune into the championships, and single elimination stuff is always sweeter and more exciting.

Yeah sure, though if the Patriots aren't playing, my hype level as a fan would likely only last for Super Bowl Sunday itself. The build up would be white noise.

Meh, not really. If the Patriots are in it I know I wont bother watching it. I've skipped watching the Super Bowl the past few seasons. I think the last one I watched was Seattle vs Denver.
