Of course winning a SB often has a lot to do with who your coaching. How do you think Reid would have done if he had been coaching Brady all these years instead of Belichick? I mean, without the cheating aspect...
Seriously, you make it sound like he's a horrible coach but he's really not. And the Marvin Lewis comparison was not very good either. Reid's stats make Lewis look like an average coach.
ultimately I want a coach who can win the big game, something that Reid has failed at more times than I can count And before 2016, most people said the same thing about Jay Wright. Jay Wright couldn't win the big games. Then Jay Wright won a couple of national championships. So past history doesn't mean squat. Jay Wright's 2016 and 2018 teams had nothing to do with the past failures of previous Villanova teams before 2016. And this current Chiefs team has nothing to do with the past failures of previous Chiefs teams.

Why didn't that Villanova team lose in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament like so many of Jay Wright's previous Villanova teams had? Because that 2016 Villanova team had nothing to do with those previous Villanova teams that lost in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. Just like this current Chiefs team has nothing to do with previous Chiefs teams that lost in the playoffs.

Tell me what in his life has Andy Reid won? He’s been to one Super Bowl and lost. You know who else has been to one Super Bowl and lost? Jeff Fisher. Andy Reid makes the playoffs most years and doesn’t win anything meaningful. You can paint him whatever degree of competence you want but ultimately I want a coach who can win the big game, something that Reid has failed at more times than I can count, mostly due to his poor decision making and clock management. So I stand by my slightly more successful Marvin Lewis comparison. Lewis always lost in the playoffs. Reid May win a game or two before losing.
He's won 195 games in the NFL. That's more than EVERY coach currently playing in the league right now, other than Belichick, a man that had to cheat to get there. He's won the NFC title game, he's won coach of the year 4 times from various publications, he won a SUPER BOWL as an assistant coach for the Green Bay Packers, plus he won 4 consecutive eastern division titles for the Eagles, longest in franchise history. and now he won the home field advantage throughout the playoffs for the Chiefs.
On a side note, what have you won?

But until it happens, people are going to have a hard time backing him in big games and the post season.

I’m a fan of the Eagles. It’s Super Bowl or bust every year. Anything less is ultimately an unsuccessful season. Andy Reid has had 19 unsuccessful seasons. Doug Pederson already has one successful season. To me he is the more successful coach, because as a fan being good isn’t good enough. On a side note I’m not paid to coach an NFL team so you can take that line of argument somewhere else.

It is hard to pick against a proven and experienced quarterback and coach.

then why not fire every coach that doesn't go all the way? Why do teams even keep coaches that go 12-4 or better but fail to win it all?
For example.. should the Bears fire Nagy? You know it's his fault that Parkey missed that fg at the end. what a loser....
I mean, if you go 16 and 0 but don't win the superbowl, you're a loser, and you had garbage season, right?

Don’t be an idiot. There are degrees of success. Andy Reid is better than Hue Jackson for example, and he has a better CHANCE at winning, he just hasn’t done so in 19 seasons. The Eagles kept Reid on at least 2 or 3 seasons too long. He’s not a BAD coach necessarily, but he has yet to show he’s a great coach. As of now he’s an accumulator. I don’t care if he finishes his career with a billion wins, if there’s no Super Bowl win in there then his career will have been unsuccessful in the only way that really matters.

I know the goal is to win a SB. That is the ultimate definition of success in the NFL but let's not punch people in the stomach because we think they're "losers" if they don't win one. Many great coaches have tried and failed.

I disagree. Many "good" coaches have tried and failed. "Great" coaches win championships.

I disagree. Many "good" coaches have tried and failed. "Great" coaches win championships. Except for Jon Gruden. There was nothing great about his “accomplishment.”
