Well there's nothing there I would call crap. Lawrence of Arabia is the only one that mioght be in my 25, and it does have the only Star Wars film that would be in my 50.

I didn't enjoy LOTR movies (mostly like only 5/10), The Godfather (I'm not for gangster stuff) and Lawrence of Arabia (I just couldn't stand watching this film, cinematography wasn't nice).
I loved when you mentioned Metropolis and Sunrise, especially Les Vampires.
I'll recommend for Greed (1924), it's like Gone with the Wind of the decade.

I like it. None of the movies are bad. The Godfather is my #1 so I agree with that. I honestly think Return of the King is the most overrated movie ever made.

Never seen any of them so I can't really comment, aside from saying that none of them really look that appealing to me. To each their own though.

I've only seen like 5 of your movies.
Really I would count the LOTR trilogy as one movie, but thats just me. I agree they are great. Empire Strikes Back should be higher on your list though.

Of those I've seen I like it except for two.
Saw A Room With a View a long time ago and for years later I used that movie as one of the worst and boring movies I've seen. I now suspect that if I watched it again I might enjoy it (at least a hell of a lot more than I did the first time). I just have trouble with risking it if I should feel the same when there's so many other movies out there that I want to see. Probably watched it too young and it didn't have any action alá Indiana Jones or Back to the Future...
The other movie is Kingdom of Heaven, Liked it enough the first time and I think I gave it 7/10. I wanted to do a rewatch a couple of months ago and could only make it through about half. Found myself looking at the clock and hoping it would end until I quit. I changed my rating to 5/10 and it should have been 4.5/10.
It's fun to see others lists and thanks for showing yours.

Seems like a legit list. Haven't heard of a handful of them. Shadow of a Doubt is an interesting choice for Hitchcock. I liked it better second time round but I don't think it's one of his best.
