think his rookie year was with the Birds and he was great - got hurt - lost his job to injury - if memory serves went onto the Browns and was horrific.

The Eagles are the luckiest team this season! You couldn't have that finish happen in the playoffs again in 20 years! Congrats to Foles, no thanks to his defense who were bailed out by a trick of the gods.

Parkey misses the game winning FG!! He’s been an absolute disaster for the Bears this season, he needs to be cut now. This is why a good kicker is so important for a team. Disappointing exit for the Bears, while Foles is magical for the Eagles once again. Terrific game!!

If I had a choice between shoveling shit for a living or being an NFL Pk, I'd grab the shovel. That ball goes a pubic hair to the right, that ball goes through. Even then Parkey is a hero for a minute, Then you realize that he did what he was supposed to do. Take Scott Norwood. A 47 yard FG outdoors in the ultimate pressure situation isn't a gimme. But you will still see him on a list of "The Biggest Sports Choker Ever". And Gary Anderson. Maybe one of the greatest PK in history. What does everyone remember? One bad kick in 1998. Fuck that.

All things considered, the Eagles are lucky they are only trailing 6-3 at the half. I know it is over now, but WHAT? How? They were dominating them actually. They were shooting themselves in the foot. The Bears had no penalties in the half and the Eagles were able to actually drive, unlike the Bears, but turned the ball over twice. If anything, the Bears were lucky to be winning at the half. |
