Wait.......am I COMPLETELY missing something (and, knowing me, I probably am), but did Rami Malek just thank both Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen for his win for Bohemian Rhapsody, but completely ignore John Deacon, who, I believe, was also sitting there at their table ??  SAVE FERRISI missed that. I´d be very disappointed at him if you´re right. |

Guys, John Deacon hasn't been in the public eye since the 1990's. Sure, it's a little surprising that he wasn't thanked, but he wasn't exactly an active participant for Bohemian Rhapsody.

SAVE FERRISDeacon has not been involved with the band and its enterprises for years. linkAnd I do not believe that he was involved with the film. Therefore, Malek's failure to acknowledge him is somewhat understandable, but I completely concur that if Deacon was going to attend the Golden Globes (as he did), he deserved to be mentioned. |

I really don't think John Deacon was there. If he's been so reclusive and private for so long, why would he pick now to come out of hiding?

I don't believe so. Again, he wasn't an active participant in the film and has been a recluse since the 1990's. Why would he now all of the sudden come out in the public again? It doesn't make sense. |
