It’s not right that I finished second in the regular season picks yet am eliminated because I shit the bed in the first round of the playoffs, I don’t think posters should be eliminated. If we are going by seeds, ok, than why are people after 6 even getting to play? They $hit the bed in the season, why do they even matter?

I say just let everyone play, and let them catch up, or the season matters.

IDC which it is, but pick one. Just my 2 cents. First, why 6 teams? Last time I checked, the NFL sends 12 teams to the playoffs. I did originally want to do it so only the first 12 seeds advance but I put it to a vote and the majority voted against it. So here we are. The season does matter because higher seeds get the tiebreaker in case of equal points and also higher priority for picking exact scores. |

I can understand getting eliminated in the Conference Championship round since there are only 2 games and thus only 4 different ways you can pick the games and 1 of those 4 ways (LL) can get you eliminated. But in the Wild Card and Divisional round, there are 4 games and thus 16 different ways you can pick the games and only 1 of those 16 ways (LLLL) can get you eliminated. So unless you didn't submit picks for all 4 games, the odds are against elimination in the Wild Card and Divisional round. I would think going 0-for-2 would be common, but how does anyone go 0-for-4 when 15 of 16 ways results in at least 1 correct pick? |
