Now do people understand why Black Panther is getting all these award nominations? Because MCU fanatics go ape**** crazy when anything negative about Black Panther is said in the public forum. Critics and academy members, who are mostly white and feel guilty for years of white washing film awards, get intimidated so in turn they will give Black Panther over-praise than what it really deserves. This ends up with all these award recognitions in the major categories you are seeing now, and may unfortunately lead to an Oscar best picture nomination. But it will be a pity nomination because of race baiting nature of black panther - just like Get Out was, an average horror flick that somehow got a Best Picture nom, because it pandered to the political black lives matter movement as Black Panther is doing. Not to say any predominant black film is race baiting, I think Moonlight absolutely deserved its nomination and win, because its a brilliantly crafted movie - Black panther and Get out were mediocre.
Oh and by the way to all the black panther fans who think the movie deserved the GG win and an Oscar Nom, how do you feel about Bohemian Rhapsody beating it and being the surprise controversial winner - a movie directed by Bryan Singer who was fired 2 weeks before filming wrapped up. A movie which many SJWs are upset when they found out it won because they think it shouldn't get any recognition due to Singers (alleged) accusations in the timesup/metoo era yet it still won.

yeah, it's helter skelter out there, I heard that one GG voter was hit by a LittlePony. Gruesome.
The fanboys should really calm down, there is still the Oscars and others, and Disney has traditionally more influence there as the recent debacle around the popular-oscar category shows. GG are are voted by Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and more independent.

Did you actually read the content of the links you posted? Talk about mis-representative headlines on those two links. Still, gave you an opportunity to have your own little rant.

If that's true, why didn't B.P. win in all 3 categories? Why wasn't it nominated in other categories where it was eligible? Why has it gotten nominations and even wins from dozens of award organizations, where the voters are of different ages, ethnicities and political sides? It has also received nominations outside the U.S. I think Moonlight absolutely deserved its nomination and win, because its a brilliantly crafted movie - Black panther and Get out were mediocre. Too bad. You were doing so well by saying "I think", but then you stated something as if it was a fact and not just your opinion.

This is simply not true. Every single MCU fan on this very board seemed to think Black Panther is overrated. It was not even the best MCU movie in 2018. I am an MCU fan and BP winning would have been terrible. It is easily not best picture worthy. It is an average movie.

The headline is taken directly from the site, fans react angrily. I know...I aknowledged that by saying they were misleading So where is the fan's rage in the first link...the best examples they can provide are... 1 complaint BP got nothing 1 saying Star Is Born & BP were better than Bohemian Rhapsody 1 saying Black Klansman & BP were better than Bohemian Rhapsody 1 saying BP were better than Bohemian Rhapsody 1 saying they were upset BP won nothing 1 complaint the BP and Crazy Rich Asians should have won something, and disrespectful that they didn't 1 surprised BP won nothing Not much "Rage" in those posts And how about the "Furious" reactions promised in the second link....the best examples they can provide are... 2 saying Star Is Born & BP were better than Bohemian Rhapsody 1 saying BP should have won and it was a racist decision 1 saying BP should have won and it was a bias decision against blockbusters 1 saying ALL the other films were better than Bohemian Rhapsody 1 saying that if there can be a surprise win for Bohemian Rhapsody at the Globes, BP might have a chance at the Oscars 1 expressing surprise at Lady Gaga and BP snub 1 saying regardless of whether it won and award or not it was still their favourite 1 surprised BP won nothing Not much "Fury" their either Don't go on Twitter...yet I'm sure the "outrage" would be just as comparable had BP won Not a clue...I'm not a critic. Maybe they do feel pressured, or maybe people assume they are because some can't accept that they viewed/enjoyed/rateed a film differently to how you did.

Well, I didn't watch the Golden Globes but plenty of those outraged MCU fans probably tuned in to watch the Golden Globes expecting to see Black Panther come away with several awards so it's no surprise that they're outraged that Black Panther got shut out at the Golden Globes. This is further proof that the nominations for Black Panther were just to appease the SJWs because the voters were afraid of being labeled as racist.

Sorry its not an opinion, black panther and get out are not historically in line with being best picture worthy. Black Panther is neither an intense character study/biopic like Logan/A theory of everything or a technical masterpiece like Birdman/Dunkirk. Why would you compare it to movies of other genres? Even LOGAN, where the superhero genre is secondary. And it's interesting that you use THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING and DUNKIRK as examples. I love both, but most people consider the former to be solid but not best-of-the-year material and the latter to be a technical spectacle with no story or characters to be invested in. it's no surprise that they're outraged that Black Panther got shut out at the Golden Globes. This is further proof that the nominations for Black Panther were just to appease the SJWs because the voters were afraid of being labeled as racist. What? I don't see the connection.
