Things got serious when I saw Laurence Luckinbill for the first time as Hank in "The Boys in the Band". So handsome and virile and easy-going.

Don Johnson circa Miami Vice
Brad Pitt circa Legends of the Fall and Seven Years in Tibet
Maybe... Ryan Gosling more recently...?
But I'm totally hetero! Ahem!
OH, ooh ooh, a young Robert Redford!
HETERO! I SAY!

I think I grew out of that phase long before I had my first crush.

Louis Jourdan
I saw Gigi on tv when I was a child, although I'm not a big fan of Musicals. I was fascinated with Jourdan because he's the embodiment of elegance and refinement. I wanted to be him. I would even try to imitate his suave way of speaking English with a French accent much to the amusement of my parents. He's still on my list of coolest actors.

He's one of my favorite Bond villains, from Octopussy! I love how he calmly explains to Roger Moore how he's going to poison him with a truth serum that will leave him braid dead, all while entertaining, over a fine dinner. Now that's class!

Louis Jourdan as Kamal Khan
Roger Moor as Jams Bond
At dinner:
Khan: You don't mind if we start? The soufflé can't wait.
Bond: At the risk of appearing to be making light dinner conversation, may l ask exactly why l am here? l mean, after all, you do have the egg.
Khan: True. But we don't have all the answers.
Bond: Well, supposing, for argument's sake, l don't feel like talking?
Khan: Don't worry, you will.
Bond: Let me guess. Thumbscrews and hot coals?
Khan: Hardly. We're much more sophisticated than that.
Bond: Sodium Pentothal? A bit crude. Very unreliable.
Khan: We prefer curare, with an effective psychedelic compound. Guaranteed results.
Bond: But with permanent brain damage.
Khan: An unfortunate side effect.
CLASS!

The actual first one? I couldn't say. But when I was a kid, I loved the good guys, the action heroes.Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Indiana Jones (Han Solo was a bit of a dick at first), Luke Skywalker, Dolph Lundgren as He-Man – I just loved the guys who saved the day.I always thought I would grow up to be a hero when I was a kid.

Never had one as i am straight. Nothing to do with sexual preference. An actor/character you thought was cool or wanted to be like.
