Watching the AtS episode, "Epiphany," and watching Angel drive the car into the house, it made me wonder - obviously, since the occupants were dead he could freely enter, but what if they hadn't been? What would have happened to him if he didn't have an invitation while diving full bore into the house inside a car? The car can go through the wall, presumably he might go splat, crushed by the seat and frame behind him, but does he leave an Angel sized dent in everything behind him, as his inability to move forward impedes everything else? And if he's squished, at what point is he so far gone he dusts vs there being enough squashed Angel goo for the invitation restriction to still hold sway to keep it/him from entry; and is there an intermeddiate state where Angel is basically just pulp, not (yet) dust, but not enough anything else that the magical laws no longer apply?

Considering how durable vampires are, I'd say they just fly through the back of the car.
Very similar to an issue of Superman where he was in an RV that hit an invisible force field designed to keep out super powered beings. The vehicle passed through no problem but Clark tore through the back as he hit the field.

Yeah, but powered-Kryptonians are far more durable, bordering on impenetrable; whereas vampires, while possessing superior endurance and healing, are about as susceptible to damage as humans. I mean, you don't even need to be a Slayer to drive a piece of wood through their heart. The only thing he might have going in a car is that there wouldn't necessarily be a lot of sharp objects digging into him, so much as large, blunt sections of car behind him, which isn't going to react to the invitation barrier the way he would; so it would just be that immediate area around him that would be impeded, but only by him. On the other hand, if you take a big enough chunk out of a residence, at what point does it cease to provide effective protection as a permanent dwelling, that a vampire could just go through?
