It amazing what people wil like. I’ve seen the movie and enjoyed enough, but not overwhelmed by it. It’s just a little above mediocre and barely touches on Mercury’s life. But Malek lip syncing with buckteeth? Give that man an award.

I like Queen and enjoyed it very much. Happy for the success of everyone involved. Did well at the Golden Globes and hope it does well at the Oscars.

Yeah, that i didn't understand... I get that for dramatic purposes they made him find out about Aids before Live Aid, when in reality it was two years after, but the "we will rock you" decision is just bizzare |

While the film has a somewhat insipid script, I found myself enjoying it so much more than I thought I would. The central reason to see it is of course Malek's terrific performance and the film and music are dynamically presented. It was made easygoing and middling for the masses to digest, but it did what it did so very well. The word of mouth and box-office is evidence of this.
